going to give them to everyone
i got 9 done today
they're fun to do but my only problem with them is that when you're pinching it into a star there's a piece of paper that's like: AWW HELL NAW IMMA LOOSEN THIS STAR and then it just slowly falls apart
its seriously painful to do with a hangnail i wouldnt reccomend it
if someone doesnt want a lucky star at my school they can choose a cheaply made origami cat/fox/rabbit face, and the teachers get origami animals that are well made (dragon, rabbit, cat, giraffe, peacock and ferret) |

| Is it hard to learn origami? I know you said you started yesterday, but you seem naturally artistic anyways. |

i can only do about a third of the origami in the books (the instructions are really confusing) but when i watch a youtube video on them i can do all of the ones in the books. i found that the instructions were really hard and i usually messed up and when i was shown how to do it in a video with more explanation it was easy
and then with the lucky stars, when i started i didnt really know what to do so i have about 5 lucky stars that are deflated, but nonetheless stars
i think that origami isn't that hard to learn if you put patience into it, but i don't really know origami from scratch, the only things i know how to do without a guide are lucky stars, origami snakes and that cheap origami cat face
the weird part is that while i never learned how to do paper air planes, ninja stars or that number and color game and everyone else has, i'm the only person in my grade who knows how to do the lucky stars or the cheap origami cat face. even the people obsessed with asian stuff don't know how to do origami, they never bothered with it |

| i made 2 more stars after the thread is posted, and they look almost identical to the perfect ones you find in photos i figured out that you just ignore the tag while pinching the sides, and then you put the tag under a strip of paper so it isn't showing |

| I'm really tempted to try origami since it's summer and I'm bored. Happy first day of summer break for you, by the way! ^-^ |

| I could never get the hang of those things, they're so precise and easy to crush accidentally. |
