(cough, cough)
The last 3 songs searched on Youtube: "sibelius symphony 2 dminor" "reformation symphony" "sleeping beauty suite"
Which goes to explain why I know 10 stupid facts about Symphony hall: 1) The vending machine in the basement level just past the security booth at the stage door sells pop tarts. They alternate between blueberry and strawberry every month or so. 2) The security office of Symphony Hall is conveniently located near aforementioned vending machines (just down the hall, then take a right through the loading bay) 3) For 2 days, the bassoon and the bass clarinet display cards in the Cohen wing were switched due to careless janitors 4) Most light switches are actually located conveniently next to doorways, similar to light switches at home. 5) Because of this, most staff are posted moderately close to the switches to make sure no prankster kids turn the lights off 6) There have been instances where kids were indeed dragged off into the basement due to playing with the light switches. 7) The Coca-cola cooler in the kitchen is actually used to store flowers. 8) The Pepsi cooler in the kitchen is actually used to store fruit. 9) On the stage, near the back, about 10 inches away from the middle dividing line of the stage, there are strange cuts into the wood (suggesting somebody having an angry moment decades ago) 10) Double-reed instruments (bassoon, oboe, cor anglais, etc.) are. by rule, never allowed to be tried out by kids during family concerts.
But the only lyrics I know from Uptown Funk is: (Weird oooohhhing noise) |

This being said, this may also go to prove to show that I did listen to Uptown Funk-purely to attempt to learn a few lyrics to be "cool".
I'm proud to say that it utterly failed! |

i've been on a heaven shall burn, scar symmetry, and cradle of filth binge recently. cradle of filth being new to me. heaven shall burn i've had the entirety of veto and a few songs saved but now i have added three more albums (antigone, deaf to our prayers, iconoclast)
other than that i have been listening to behemoth, arch enemy, the agonist, soilwork, machine head, bring me the horizon, lamb of god, chimaira, morbid angel (new to me), the haunted, devildriver, black dahlia murder, deadlock, arsis, and all of the usual bands that i don't bother listing
i can see the hate for cradle of filth, their style just screams edgy teenage goth (doesn't help that they had not one or two, but THREE vampire-themed albums during the peak of the "goth vampire" hot topic phase), but damn their stuff is good. cruelty and the beast is an absolutely brilliant album, and even one of their most hated albums has some absolutely jaw-droppingly good moments even from their most radio-friendly song ( https://youtu.be/6dW6aNAZGTM?t=2m6s )

White on white translucent black capes Back on the rack Bela lugosi's dead The bats have left the bell tower The victims have been bled Red velvet lines the black box Bela lugosi's dead Undead undead undead The virginal brides file past his tomb Strewn with time's dead flowers Bereft in deathly bloom Alone in a darkened room The count Bela logosi's dead Undead undead undead |
