While I absolutely love it and enjoy messing around with it, there's still a few slight issues with it.
For starters if you convert to smooth terrain, any models you have on the ground will be halfway IN it after you convert. If you have a lot of c-framed models on different levels of heights, converting is a nightmare as you can't easily fix your models and put them back to the proper places and level.
Also, the smallest setting for Paint doesn't work, and it's difficult to get different textures lined up properly because they're on slightly different levels of height. No matter what you do, some of the texture is going to end up on other texture that you don't want it to.
Other than those two issues, the smooth terrain is really great, and doesn't lag as much as normal terrain did.

@youip: In Studio, in Edit mode, click on Terrain, and on the right after all the normal options for terrain is a button that says Convert to Smooth Terrain.
Click it, and a GUI will pop up, letting you know that it can't be undone if you go through with it. Click yes.
