AC Balls (Helsinki) They kick balls for fun when they're not at their regular day jobs and are doubling as amateur footballers.
AC Barca (Kuopio) Pathetic 6th tier amateur Barcelona ripoff.
AS Moon (Raahe) They don't play on the moon. They play in a small city about 45 miles south of Oulu.
City Norsulauma (Tampere) The City Elephant Stampede. Certainly not stampeding their way through the 7th tier.
EsPa/NJA (Espoo) A team made up of two football clubs. Combination of the names literally makes it translate to "Spain". I doubt any of the players are Spanish.
FCK (Jyväskylä) Well if you ask me, FCK this team for being from Jyväskylä.
FC Ankkalinna (Pori) "Ankkalinna" is the Finnish name for the town that Donald Duck lives in. This team even uses a picture of Scrooge McDuck on their crest and their team motto is "you'll never kvaak alone".
FC FC (Helsinki) I never thought I'd seriously come across "FC FC" as the name of a football club.
FC Koivu (Turku) Named after exactly who the hockey fans think it is. The Koivu brothers, born and raised in Turku. They have absolutely no affiliation with this team.
FC Playmates (Helsinki) Yes, they're named after the Playboy magazine.
FC Potku (Tampere) Literally "FC Kick". How original.
FC Potkupallo (Lappeenranta) "Potkupallo" is a slang term in Finland that literally means "kickball" and is often interpreted as "shitty football".
FC Santa Claus (Rovaniemi) It's named after exactly what you think it is. They also play in the Arctic Circle, +1. This is the only team on this list that plays in the top 3 tiers of Finnish football.
FC Suola (Oulu) Literally translates to "FC Salt". Salt probably coming from the reality that they'll never be above the 6th tier.
FC Tarzan (Kuopio) Too bad they have no fans to scream like Tarzan whenever they score a goal.
HeMan (Helsinki) They don't get to play against Skeletor, so I guess their rivals could be another team from the 7th tier Helsinki 2 group called PETO ("BEAST").
HePuLi (Helsinki) Hepuli literally translates to "a fit of rage". This must be the most booked team in Finland.
Hot Lips (Turku) This team's name is probably the only reason why they have 325 likes on Facebook despite being in the fifth tier.
HyMy (Vaasa) I smiled at this one because it translates to "smile".
Kristallipalatsi (Tampere) Come up with your own name instead of just translating "Crystal Palace" into Finnish.
No Stars (Kokkola) Ironically, they have three stars in their team's crest.
SexyPöxyt (Espoo) Team name translates to "SexyPants", with "pöksyt" being a nickname for pants. When they're playing outside of the top 4 tiers in the pyramid, they're forced to go by the name "Pöxyt"
Yllätys (Liperi) The team name translates to "surprise", which it would truly be if they got promoted past the 5th tier. |

SexyPöxyt (Espoo) Team name translates to "SexyPants", with "pöksyt" being a nickname for pants. When they're *not* playing outside of the top 4 tiers in the pyramid, they're forced to go by the name "Pöxyt" |
