| I've started working out to tryout for football next year and I gained about 5lbs in two weeks, and usually it takes most people like more than a month to gain 5lbs, this normal? |

| If you push hard enough it's normal. But you're on a good path, just don't overdo it. |

| They are called "beginner gains", and yes, they're perfectly normal. Don't expect to gain that much weight so fast in the long run, the growth will die down. |
