{The teacher is testing vocabulary} TEACHER: "[A classmate], what is "leader" in German?" CLASSMATE: "Sorry, I, uh, only know the one word." TEACHER: "It's fine." CLASSMATE: "Führer."

This is the Netherlands, Germany is our big brother and our largest trade partner. Did you know Germany imports more from the Netherlands than it imports from any other country?
You get to choose between French and German but French sucks.

"I have to learn both French and German"
I had to do that until 9th grade. I'm in 10th grade now, and I dropped French. You can learn both if you want to, but I suck at both so obviously I only take one.
It's quite odd that English is my best class while German is my worst.

| In year 9, I have to choose either to take French or German. Which I find that it's odd. Because I've been taught French since Year 3 and yet they do German for 1 year in Year 8. It's very annoying and my answer would be French because theirs not much point in German if it's only for another year or two. |

I got both equally. I chose German because I'm slightly better at it and it's more useful for me and my career prospects.

| Ah good choice, I'm awfull at both and forgotten most things in French. Though I know the basics but with German I'm obviously progressing well as its a new topic and well different. And we'll it's only easier in German than French because we are just learning the basics. |

I've been to Germany quite often and nobody there supports fascism.

There are almost none in Germany, or in Europe in general. I think it's because Europeans actually witnessed what it was like.

Maybe it's because it's illegal
