| This will not happen because people in TRC will probably say no because they do not want to lose there ranks. |

| TRC can be like an auxillary force, kind of like RNG. HR+ can go on the team whenever and other ranks can only go out when deployed, and they need more police. |

It's already been confirmed that Rockport State Police Department, is discontinued.
It wouldn't be right to have a police department with 13,000 less members than it's state.

This is a terrible, terrible idea.
I'm not one to defend abuse. I despise police brutality just as much as the next citizen, but replacing the entire police force isn't the way to circumvent police corruption.
First off, TRC has 25,000 members, the most active of which are citizens who would be absolutely outraged if their ranks no longer meant anything in the State of Rockport. They worked hard to become the overseers of Rockport law, and telling them to pack up and leave with no accommodation isn't going to go nicely.
Secondly, this bill would hardly even change anything. An application system *might* increase the amount of professional officers on the streets, but in the end, corruption will still exist. "Abuse", as it's called, it's a subjective term. Anyone can declare an officer abusive and spread the word, regardless of whether their rights were actually violated. It's these kinds of misunderstandings the popularize the concept of abuse, despite the lack of any actual police brutality occurring. No matter how much we regulate our police, abuse reports would always remain constant.
Third, there isn't even a problem here to begin with. Like I said, abuse is subjective. Most citizens don't know their rights and thus don't know that they're not being broken. They simply declare abuse because it's the mainstream thing to do, and this generates masses of faulty abuse reports that paint an invalid picture of corruption in Rockport. Also, you intend on limiting the number of police officers on the street? Why? With the amount of police now, we have fairly decent coverage and response time for all areas of our cities. Why would we want to lower the amount of cops and increase the margin for violent crime to take place?
I don't see this bill going anywhere. It might get through HoR, but it likely won't, and I highly doubt it'll get passed Senate. This bill addresses an issue that's practically nonexistant as though it's a major hazard to our freedom. Personally, I hope this bill fails.

Abuse, corruption, right there.

Benefits of Rockport State Police Department:
- Government Run - Matches the State name (State of Rockport and Rockport State Police Department) - Non-abusive - If an officer abuses, they get exiled - Better trained - Application - Better realism - Ect.

@Average
Alright, so there's abuse. But it's not to the extent that people seem to think it is. Plus, it's not hard to bring abusive officers to justice. Record, PM an AC, they get suspended. Sure, it's not as elaborate or professional as the Rockport court system, but it's actually faster and more accurate.
@Rec Doesn't mario need to own that group? And doesn't the state governor need to sign off on this before it's officially associated with Rockport? You're literally advertising for a non-Rockport affiliated group. You do realize that's illegal in official circumstances, don't you? |

| I support this bill! RNG can easily be deployed if TRC is removed and RPD is still being set up, Its about time law enforcement makes sense in Rockport! |

| Also this will make it so that Officer can sue Officers for abuse etc. So the cases will not go unheard if there is evidence. |

Aye, 100%. What kind of a state has more officers in an unofficial police department than citizens regarding to its state and name, and mostly doesn't include the respective title of "Rockport" / "State of Rockport" anywhere?
All TRC does is create conflict with our citizens. "The Robloxian Cops". No, we need an official Rockport Police Department ran by the Governor / Governors. |
