I'm sorry about the really harsh response you got.

These are good ideas, but this isn't the type of game for them to be applied. The current style of gunfighting is just fine, any updates should be only to the guns, or the maps.

@Gler, These are updates to the guns, and the guns are not fine lol. Maybe I'll just create a Hardcore clan league lol. That would be easier than convincing you hardheads.

Happens in all games. Btw with an ADC too we will still have 3rd person right ?

In other games it's mostly a radar sound indicator or something.

You are changing system not guns. Changing guns would be like void or fc or tra or sf.

[1] Spam Jumping:
Very unrealistic, and offputting to new coming Gun fighters, I myself think this is an acquired skill, but can become annoying, and impossible to defeat as a newcomer.

[2] Low damage guns
Again, very unrealistic, if there were laser guns, wouldn't you think they'd do some damage if the government actually decided to use them? So why are they doing 5 damage max on most clan forts?

rcl does 10 damage per shot
other group guns do 5-10 damage per shot
lol

[3] Shooting behind you
This yet another annoying, and very unrealistic factor of the current popular gunfighting system, why should you be able to shoot behind you with such accuracy?

actually this used to be the case and it was stupid in 2010
the bullets kept getting stuck and killing you

It would be cool to see like Phantom Forces kind of gameplay in a clan, but honestly I do not take this game so seriously. If I want a true FPS I will play Battlefield. Roblox is a laid back game, why cause so much turmoil trying to change how everyone fights?

@Kling, I'll create a League of groups to use it, and then get groups to join if they wanna use the system, so the groups who use the system can war eachother

but it won't be better, why would you give people limits to JUMPING?
if you can respect the fact gunfighting is played how a sport is, in a sense
that'd be like controlling the stamina of players!

What if a player suddenly has the drive to out go his stamnia?


People are trying to say that it won't be better, and that's probably going to be true for the competitive side of the gunfighting community. If you limit our movement or ability to shoot behind I feel like that'd be the most devastating. Maybe damage can be changed, but having higher damage overall no matter what simply makes things quicker and more possible for people to fluke, which is booboo in the case of RCL.

Giving stamina to jumping in gunfighting is like

giving stamnia to how many LUNGES are allowed in sword fighting.

@2uo Stamina was my explanation, it's not actually stamina, it's more like, once you jump there's a quarter second cool down, so you're not spamming it.

The issue is that during that cooldown, you're still going to be fighting.

It's not like in sword lunge cooldowns where you can back away, if you jump it's generally because you're in the open.

Tell me how you're going to fight without the cooldown? Are you just going to allow your self to walk even in a bad situation? I feel like giving jumping a cool down the way HEX does forces people to stick to cover and use it as a crutch.

It promotes camping, which isn't too hip.
