At people talking about originality, this isn't original? TF2 does it pretty much the same, and so do others, but TF2 has a way to cope with it, and it makes sense.
This isn't original anymore, however this is more original than the old style, think about it :)

Halo uses 3rd person? And so does watchdogs, GTA, many other games such as Ghost Recon do also, but they do it better.

if all you do to dodge is hold the space bar, you're bad at dodging. it's not that you shouldn't jump but you shouldn't be doing it all the time. people who just hold spacebar are actually easier to hit if you're actually good

FPS'ing while gun fighting on roblox is awful. maybe the barrel thing would be ok but i prefer gun fighting the way it is. |

Interesting conecpts, but here's my view on it.
My issue with this is how limiting it is when it comes to competition on a high level, all these "fixes" simply dumb it down for newcomers to make it easier.
Spam jumping is easily defeated by simply having good aim and spam jumping your self. Why would you want to limit someone by forcing them to walk when it wouldn't be opportune to do so?
Low damage guns are due to the fact that it's ridiculously easy to hit shots on roblox characters. They're blocks. The higher the damage is, the easier people who are bad at gunfighting to compete, because they don't have to hit as many shots, and don't have to aim for as long as they would with low damage guns.
Shooting behind is also, fairly dumbing down due to the fact that it really limits how people can play compared to how it is now. Forcing people to play in mouselock or something similar would be horrible. People play in third person free-cam because it's far better to aim and dodge at the same time, while also allowing for better accuracy.
Overall, your 'fixes', personally just make gunfighting easier, which actual gunfighters wouldn't want, because they strive to be better, not feel good about being bad. |

And the point of gunfighting on roblox isn't the be realistic, it's to compete. You beat the other person because you're better.
If you want realism there are various simulation games like the Arma series which you can buy. Or maybe you should make your own gun scripts, by putting it into FPS, base shooting and aiming on the movements of hands, and dynamic damage. |

your updates to gunfighting make it too easy, so don't do it roblox isn't realistic, if you want to make things realistic do it right, instead of just pretending you dumbing down gunfighting to make it easier is making it 'realistic',
because that's exactly what you're doing |

@2, I play arma, but I want to make guns more realistic simply to make it possible for a coordinated group of players to actually be able to move through a fort, and call shots for eachother, I mean think about it, 2v5 who would win? the guys with 5 right? That's how it should be, you either be a really good aim, or you lose. If you think about it it's more competitive, it's forcing you to get a better aim to hit those one shot headshots. Like CSGO, takes about the same amount of shots to kill as what i'm saying, and jumping on there doesn't help you as much as being tactical does.
