If you round that up, you'll get $6. Assuming you get 5¢ in change. In this case, $6 is cheap.

@Brooklyn:
Average parent in their 30s for 40s: "You know those stupid game cards that cost a fortune for a piece of cardboard, and you have nothing to show for it, but the card that you just throw out anyways? My kid wants one of those."
Read the body again.

@The13th: I paid for it myself. My parents didn't. There is no irony here.

@Med: Yeah, but would most parents really pay for a virtual item?

Other players pay for theirs too.
You have no argument. ROBLOX is free to play, but has premium features, which are optional, not required. There are plenty of websites and MMORPGs that do the same thing.
$6 IS cheap, and is a better deal than some of the prices that massive MMOs have, such as World of Warcraft, which has MORE players than ROBLOX does.

@The13th: Look, the issue is OBCs like yourself telling kids who can't buy it themselves, because their parents will punish them for buying a game card (YES THAT HAPPENS) to buy it.
Yes it is cheap, HOWEVER their parents don't SEE VALUE IN VIRTUAL ITEMS.
How cheap it is isn't part of this argument.
Unless you can prove that EVERY PARENT is ok with their child paying for, or paying themselves for virtual items YOU have no argument against mine.

| Six dollars is the price of a subway sandwich and a soda. If you've ever eaten fast food you can afford BC. |

@The13th: Oh... BTW, did anyone actually read the body? The price wasn't the issue. It was the parents view on how it works.
"finds value in a virtual membership"
"that they will have nothing physical to show for."
"nothing physical."
I'm surprised no one actually figured out what I was talking about... Should I reword this?

| No one read the body correctly, not even Sling did and to buy BC you would need a credit card to spend exactly the 6$ or a 10$ gamecard. |

It's literally 3 pounds or 6 dollars... it's literally sacrificing lunch.
If you find no value in it then why would they want it anyway? |

@Nom: *sigh* What if your mom, or dad was born before the technological era, and thus doesn't see value in a virtual item, and forbids buying game cards? Yes, that's a real thing.
