I have made this animation. It's a looped rolling animation. And I play it on about 6 speed.
http://www.roblox.com/roll-item?id=250243628
The problem with it is that when I play it at that (or higher) speed it will make my character bouncy. The character just flies up at random. It's probably because of collisions with the floor. Any ideas how to fix this? |

If you animate the head or torso, you will have problems with collisions. There is currently no way of fixing this other than making a pseudo(fake) character.

Ah, some response. Thanks! any hints about how to make a pseudo(fake) character?
I guess have to make the character invisible and weld new parts to it functioning as new Body Parts. But how would I handle things like body Meshes? Or do you know a better way to do this? |

There are meshIDs for the beveled limb meshes, but they are incompatible with clothing. I've changed over to a much more rigid/simple art-style, so I don't mind non-beveled parts. If you intend on using the player's normal character though, I don't really have any recommendations.
With a custom/pseudo character, you can make the normal character invisible, then joint together the new limbs from the torso. That way you can make the invisible body a controller, then the custom body for animations!(Plus you can make the animated body have CanCollide set to false.)

So I guess it isn't possible to preserve the player's original character...
Hmmm... This is quite a pain... |

| You may have to remake the animation to work with the floor. |

| Or you could set a player weight when the animation starts and when it ends, it removes the weight. |

| ^ The character has to roll over the ground. Not over the air. I already made the animation hover slightly, but it's still bouncy when rolling up slopes and edges. |

| Some simple weight won't fix this. |

Make the character weigh MORE.
No seriously, keep adding weight until it works.
Eventually the character will weigh too much to actually be able to "bounce" |

Yep. My mistake :)
To bad I can't add more weight. That prevents the player from rotating his character. |
