| So Im just wondering but if there happened to be a large amount of tools in Lighting, ServerStorage, or ReplicatedStorage, would that cause a large amount of lag even though they aren't rendered? |

Potetionally not in ServerStorage.
I mean. By "large" how big do you mean. |

| Well I was editing my friends place and I saw he had around 40 tools doing different things spread around the storage areas and lighting but aren't rendered in workspace or the player |

My secret,
Make a Module...
Place it within the ServerScriptService...
For all the Tools, simple use a script to require them in the Module... thus being added to a table and parented to nil. Thus removing your lag.
To checkout them from the library of tools simply call the module again and it will be removed from the table and parented to ServerStorage to be used as a item to clone or ETC... |
