just a month ago i would have struggled to speak, or not so much struggled as be uncomfortable with speaking maybe
now i speak respectably fast and i only have to think about what im saying sometimes, it's like i don't even need to translate most of it in my head before i speak anymore
it is beautiful |

yes yes it is
perhaps because you've had the opportunity of speaking with actual people now that's all you needed |

"please give me back my language knowledge"
exile yourself in books
"perhaps because you've had the opportunity of speaking with actual people now that's all you needed "
it is and it is so wonderful
la hondurena, being incapable of speaking any english, provides me with such a fun challenge
we're friends :-) we always ask each other how to say things |

plus, it's even harder since her usage of slang is probably gigantic
i bet the galician girl doesn't use much slang, but her expressions sound weird, don't they? |

"plus, it's even harder since her usage of slang is probably gigantic"
it's always fun to learn slang from her
she always says "chingon" and "que oso" the second i learned means nothing in specific - she explained that she uses it like, "i see a cute boy, guau que oso - i see an ugly boy, que oso"
she uses it for everything
"i bet the galician girl doesn't use much slang, but her expressions sound weird, don't they?"
they do call chocolate chips pepitas de chocolate in galicia, that is weird enough |

chingon has a nice definition here lmao
que oso is mainly used in the northern part of the country i live in the south, so you don't hear it much
northern nicaraguan slang is weird as hell https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AtBS-twZFis
hasn't she spoken any galician mixed with spanish by accident?
it's called castrapo, i think |

a precio especial lmao
"hasn't she spoken any galician mixed with spanish by accident?"
if she has, i have not noticed
she and the hondurena are two different speakers - the honduran is quick, louder, and a more emotional speaker
the gallega speaks deliberately in english, as well as in spanish
it is soothing |

PARA IRME BIEN LOCO EN EL BUS
and yes, spanish has that little detail
the more soothing your vowels and strong consonants are, the more "educated" you're seen among society
emotive and loud people aren't looked up very highly unless it's emotive, but like in a speech |

actually, that problem is something all of nicaragua suffers from lmao
we all have a problem with 1 simple word, and probably the one that's used the most
vos
in the deep south it's pronounced VOSSSSS in the pacific it's pronounced voh in the central region it's pronounced vo[x] (Voiceless velar fricative) in the caribbean it's just vo, no long vowel like in the pacific |

the gallega is definitely well educated and very classy
but the hondurena is killer cute and that's something honduras has over galicia |
