•Windows 8.1 •Intel Core i5-4460 Quad-core 3.20 GHz •8 GB, DDR3 SDRAM •1 TB HDD
Acer Aspire ATC-605
It's like $550 total price with the Warranty and the Taxes.
I was going to buy it but the BestBuy people seemed very sketchy when it came to theh warranty (skimming questions, litterally lying about stuff in the warranty) so I just walked out of the store
But I do need a new computer
Is this computer worth dealing with sleazebags for $550? |

ok so here's a thorough explanation of this pc's value this is a laptop, so i see it as ok for the money. if you were to build a pc with these specs, this is my estimated cost: i5-5560=around $200 8gb ram=$90 1TB HDD=$100 motherboard=$80 case=$50
so essentially, you won't save MUCH, but it'll be some money. so yes, this pc is worth the money

just go on youtube and search "how to build a pc" and follow any video, youll do fine, it's easy to build one. also with building your own pc, youll learn and give yourself experience, also, building your own pc would allow you to brag to everyone about how awesome you are. now go build a pc child

okay senpai
but one more thing
I don't want some super MLG noscope PC. I want a mild gaming one for games like ROBLOX or Team Fortress.
In that scenario I want to buy cheap parts.
How do I know the parts I'm buying are cheap enough that I can play games like TF2 and stuff interrupted, but not cheap enough that I can't even run skype? |

@Super
I've had my Acer Aspire for 9 years. I've had it through hell, having it on anywhere from 6-10 hours on everyday, sometimes longer.
I'm only having issues with overheating, and not being able to play Team Fortress 2 / Running ROBLOX and Skype at the same time.
I could clean out my computer, and maybe buy a new graphics card, but I only have 3 GB of Ram anyway, so I might aswell say goodbuy and buy a new computer.
The Acer Aspire I have is pretty damn 10/10 |

well
the computer I have now I've had for 9 years. I'm going to assume that if I head off for college / Uni in 2 years, I'll probably just get a laptop or something and be less games and more studying.
If thats the scenario though, should I bother even getting a new PC if I'll only use it for 2 years? |
