The next 20 years (PROBABLY):
Iraq: Torn by war with cultural borders, likely will collapse and re-build under one state.
IS: Same as Iraq, likely its main power base will fall to the surrounding attacks of the Kurds, Iraqi and Syrian armies, will continue to operate as a terror group.
Libya: Engaged in a second civil war caused by the Western intervention of the US and UK led coalition to remove Gaddaffi.
People's Republic of China: High pollution and water expected to run out in 2030.
The United Kingdom: Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland wanting to break away, causing the end of the union.
The United States of America: Many states wish to secede from the US, most passionate about this are Alaska and Texas, followed by many others.
North Korea: Lack of natural resources and general technological disadvantage could lead to a military coup to over-throw the Kim Dynasty.
Spain: Economic crisis since 2008 + Catalonia and Basque cultures wanting to secede and create their own states, the latter of which has a violent terror group supporting it (ETA).
The Maldives: Located just 1.5 metres above sea level, continued global warming could sink the entire nation.
Belgium: Two vastly different cultures could break away and form their own states, the Flemish nation and the French-speaking Walloon (Walloon has an equal chance of joining France).
Enjoy that information, and if you live in those countries. Oh well, chances are you'll be fine to some extent, but hey? Who can tell?

Being Scottish myself, around 95% of the people in my school are for independence, and seeing as how well the SNP did the general election, Scotland will probably be its own country within the next 10 or so years.

@Fleet, I expected this. You Americans are sure that every other country will not survive, but the moment someone mentions yours, you act like your invincible...

no i sometimes have the fear that it'd happen.
but i highly doubt any state would actually secede, and if it did not for long. |

Scotland won't be a country anytime soon
England will probably just corrupt the votes and say Scotland wanted to stay within the UK |

That is possible, there was a lot of speculation that the votes were rigged in the Referendum, but if the number is significantly higher than the ones wanting to stick with them, they'll probably break off.
As unlikely as it is, the SNP has caused quite a stir, so as I said, within the next 10 years, it's probable.

that video gave literally no reason behind state secession
it gave a petition that even the governors were like "nope" |

| It's more likely that the United States will annex Mexico verses a state seceding and it's even more likely California splits it's self from north east and south then Alaska going away |
