| Alright. Schedule an appointment with your dentist. It sounds like a bad cavity has formed, and left unchecked, the pain will get worse. Abscess may form. |

| Good. In the mean time, NSAIDs. Motrin, Advil, or Aleve. Those specifically target the inflammation that causes the pain. |

| HOWEVER! If the pain has other symptoms that accompany it: Fever, nausea, vomiting, weakness, call 911 immediately, as that is a sign of a dental infection, which if not treated promptly, can kill you. |

| Pulling your own tooth can cause hairline fractures in the jaw, and lead to a deeper abscess in the jaw. :) Not a smart idea. |
