Now, this forum is to settle some arguments. I know some people have posted their 2IC applications in a bid to try and settle arguments that they deserve the promotion they received from Jacob.
Mine is as follows;
I am TheCobaltSnowflake. Below are the answers to your questions regarding the 2IC Position of your Group Division.
Question One: Why do you want to be 2IC?
First of all, Good Question. Frankly, I'll be honest. I do a brilliant job at things. I'm effective, co-ordinated and respected. I have a high IQ, meaning I'm not "Noobish" or immature. I have perfect grammar, and I expect everyone beneath me to do the same. It is one of the things I would enforce if chosen for the position.
Also, I have a couple of personal rules regarding promotions. Personally, I believe some are given too easily, and I'm more than happy to demote people if I do not think they are operating at the level their rank operates at.
1. No Uniform? No Promotion. No ifs, buts or maybe's. If you can't afford it, then write to me personally stating this. Otherwise, tough luck. No exceptions.
2. If you beg for a promotion, I will warn you. If you carry on, excessively, I will kick you. If you come back, or at another training, keep begging, I will demote you. I believe they should be earnt, not asked for. (I do understand the irony here, but at least this is a designated application, not a child wanting more of something)
Question Two: How active are you?
Everyday. Even if it just for a small time, to check the posts, the logs and make sure everything is running smoothly. Especially as Second In Command, it's important to ensure the group is running to maximum efficiency.
Question Three: What times are you on?
I am one of the lucky people to live in the GMT Time Zone. I live in England. This means I am online for several hours each night, and my activity links up with EST, which is also a considerably popular timezone. Dependent on the activity for GMT, I will host one every two days for them. Weekends, I would expect other High Ranks to host, due to them maybe not being as active during the week. (People have plans, I understand that).
Question Four: Do you have any Leadership Skills?
Yes, I was a British Royal Air Force Cadet for 6 years, I attained the rank of Cadet Warrant Officer. Here, I was in charge of the entire squadron as a Cadet member. I took orders from Commissioned Staff Members based on squadron, and I, in turn, relayed everything to the cadets, and made sure the evening, or event ran smoothly.
Question Five: Have you been a High Rank before?
Yes, I am currently a Prime in Ice Legion, a 100,000 + member clan. I am currently improving the activity rate, as well as the promotion system, to make it harder, but fairer. They do not have any as many ranks as I would like, but that is out of my control. I believe a 10 rank system from the very first rank, to the very first High Rank (3 more High Rank positions come after this) should be in place. This gives people a steady ladder to climb, rather than seemingly large chunks that they do not deserve. Most people feel as if they must get a promotion for attending, when this is not the case.
I am also a current Captain in FEAR, and an Ex-Officer in FEAR on my Alt account. I have been a High Rank in John's Cobras, Team Domino, Shadow Legion, and Mid Ranks in other groups, too many to remember or name.
I do hope this bodes in my favour, and I hope to hear good news from you shortly. I believe I would be a good addition to your team.
Thankyou,
TheCobaltSnowflake
Yes, I know there are a couple of things in there which make me sound Big Headed. But, I do the job. I'm the Second in Command, and things will get done under my leadership. I am not asking for you to accept me straight away, or even at all. All I ask if you respect the RANK I have attained, and follow my commands. I will never ask you to do something unreasonable, so there should never be a reason to disobey my orders.
If you have any problems, questions or queries, PM me, I will answer them if I can.
