| Many people have been getting their accounts hijacked because of hackers viewing their inventory and seeing marvelous virtual Robloxian goods, so I came up with the idea of adding a new setting in the section of privacy! This new privacy setting will be named "Who can view my inventory" and it will have an option just like the others for instance,all users,friends,followers and friends,no one.So many people can change the setting to "friends only" and change their character to looking new to Roblox and hackers won't even know a single thing! And this can really support rich robloxians because it would be quite depressing if a hijacker hijacked their wealthy account. |

| I agree. Most hackers only hack people who have rich limiteds. It happened to me quite a few times this is a marvelous idea! |

The only way to hack into an account is by keylogging, which is successful by phishing. Therefore, changing your "Who can message me" settings will, for the most part, obliterate your chance of getting keylogged.
If there's another way to hack into someone's account, tell me. |

| @Cluster I know..but it's just a good idea to shield your account even more from hackers targeting to hijack it. |

| Anyway, you failed to tell me another way to get an account hacked. So your idea is ultimately ineffective if I'm right. |

| Disabling your messages won't stop you from getting hacked. Sure, it reduces the chances from phishers messaging you links, but there are still ways of getting hacked. Visiting any website that isn't secured could download a keylogger. You don't even have to download anything to get a keylogger. Search around the Internet, you'll learn more about how it works. |

| Actually wrong clute, my friend GoldGiratina had gotten hijacked because of accepting a friend request by someone named "BiIIystorm".He had went into a group and the group owner (I think) had requesting to friend him and gold accepted it but somehow goldgiratina said that he had hacked into the account because his setting was "friends only can trade with me" and a couple of hours later he noticed that one of his limited gear was gone..so afterwards he looked at his trades and it said "trade with BiIIystorm complete" and goldgiratina had obviously not freely given away his gear because it is worth over 1000 r$ and he doesn't really accept trades and he wouldn't lie to me I have personally known him for more than a year. |

@Link
This idea wouldn't prevent that from happening anyway as this idea revolves around the items you possess and the only way to get in touch with that user with the valuable items is by publicly phishing (like in commentary and forums). |

@iD
You simply can't get hacked from sending friend requests on Roblox - and I know that. |

| Except for the fact that they can look at what you're wearing, and most people wear their really limited items to show off. Making this basically useless. |

The idea behind this is not to add actual security to hacking, but rather to try to remove the hacker's desire of hacking. For example, hacker won't know if you have good items if your inventory is unable to be viewed. Therefore, they won't be inclined to get into your account.

No support. Viewing the inventory is useful for LMaDers/traders/investors, especially when they are looking to buy rather than trade limiteds, and some users (me included) will usually want to figure what a hat is if we do not recognize it; naturally, we would check its owner's inventory for it.
Instead, just make a warning label when viewing PMs (similar to the "Roblox Admins will NEVER ask for your private information") that warns about offsite links' ability to get you viruses or keyloggers. |
