Rares demand? Here's my 'theory' I say this loosely cause it's based on facts, these are reasons why most rares are low demand
First demand is defined by the desire of people who want a hat {obviously}
Reasons 1: demand is created by knowledge here's an exxample you got a big company like Nintendo Who are known there games always have a demand group now a new company name 'talior' comes out & starts selling games, no one knows them they have low-no demand for there games w/o the help of other companies
NOW rares are the same look at STF it's rare & highly known, it's demanded now look at something like NYC {i'm using this for a reason} NYC has LOW demand no1 really knows the hat, it's barely known
another reason 2: You got 2 groups of people followers & leaders THe biggest group of these 2 are followers people like trends look at shoes "oh those $500 jordans you got? i must get a pair to look cool too" people do the same on roblox you see people wearing STF or dominus & most noobs assume you're famous even if you're a nobody
Now here's a test I did During 2014 I got NYC*2 it was 45k I advertised it basically on LMaD a lot gaining offers no1 knew the hat at all during the time months later iit rose people knew the hat a bit the demand rose {reason 1 fits this test} NOW months later NYC peaked @120k(+) the demand was higher the hat was more known & anyone in LMaD knew the hat basically through me & here's where value plays a part it then crashed due to it's rarity {before you say 'oh it crashed'} NYC went from 120k to 40k just like that value=demand VS rarity shed leaked 9 crowns & it crashed now if he didn't the hat would be still 120k(+) because the demand I created

your PSTF is projected thenn & no CWS is basically projected it's too inflated & arguably 'gained' demand because of it's sales but the hat in general is inflated due to sales & ignorance messor is an example of projection rares do not sell enough to be 'projected' & even if they dd it's rare it's hard to prove it's projected depending on the sale |

projections= ppl hoarding item/ mass raising it just like ur nyc, you got many so did shed once at peack he traded all and ot crashed

that doesn't mean it's projected projection isn't by 'hoards' it's by sales if someone owns 100/100 of a hat is it projected? no it's priceless if someone owns 5000/5550 is it projected? depends
if it was 200rap & didn't budge NO it's not projected the value isn't affected at all HOWEVER if it is 5k & he gets rids of the 'hoard' the hat becomes projected |

@nirvana I don't write letters so idk whose right xd @tiger again owning a collection does not make it projected a collection of hats means you're uncirculated that hat TIL you trade it once traded the hats are circulated and arguably projected depending if it's traded as a whole or by parts |

ok because im board il write u a essay i don't get 2 argue much and it seems fun
The Theory's of Demand and Rares, limiteds collide. Rares and demand, although all hats have different amounts of "want" from all people on ROBLOX some hats are better then others. In the start Roblox made hats for people to wear and then limiteds. The hats that people liked and wanted were known as good demanded, and the hats that people did not want or did not want to trade for it is bad demand. Now rares are hats that are not widely known and have little sales. For there little sales they are not widely known, but people do see and know them, they are just not wanted. There are a few expectations such as Sparkle Time fedoras, they are a popular hat that is very good looking and people like. But, Rares people do not want very much, most are very bad looking, such as New York crown that was hoarded by shed, if realesd it would fail miserably an crash to the ground for no one would want a ugly hat, they would not trade for it. But there are a few rare lovers like f8 who would OP for hats.
dont feel like typing more have another 4 page essay 2 write

I get your point to a point BUT rares are like my youtube video compare to smosh my youtube videos aren't known w/ my what? 7 subscibers yea smosh has millions of subscribers
the view rate of my videos is at an all time low just like rares barely viewed & the most common group of 'high demands' are hats people commonly wear in ads {CCCO, STF, dominus, DCs, etc} OR cheap affordable hats even hats @500 rap you'd think has no demand actually has OK demand & some what of sale rates affordability + knowledge creates the biggest demand |
