it can work they just have to remove the laser guides accuracy that every enemy has in AC unity |

didnt they say they dont want a game based around a time with things like efficient firearms
because then in order to be an assassins guild there would have to be actual stealth |

| For this to really work AC would have to be the stealth game promised instead of what it is now |

@Milbet
JFK is not an assassin, nor is he a modernized gun. |

A game like that would require actual stealth, or you'd get shot dead very quickly.
You can't fight guys armed with Schmeissers with a knife unless you get close in and... pick one off before getting shot by his mates.

| Did anyone else ever play the Saboteur? If there was an AC game set in 1930s-1940s, it would be like that. Just with less....fluffy bits. |

@orsai
because you can climb buildings? No... it's nothing like AC. Closest similarity is Just Cause, but The Saboteur is not centred around melee combat |

| Who said that AC had to be centred around melee combat? Perhaps that is one of the main things that's preventing it from advancing? |

"it can work they just have to remove the laser guides accuracy that every enemy has in AC unity"
Speaking of laser guides, what if the player character of this game had a sort of "runner vision" (from Mirror's Edge) so that he can see where the guns are pointing? |

I just don't like having an Assassin in the 30's.
I mean, there's already Syndicate and Victory set in the 19th century.
And there's also Russia set in the early 20th century.. |

There IS an AC game set in Russia.
Assassin's Creed: Chronicles Russia
There you go. And yes, there is a graphic novel of AC Russia. The game was based on it though... |

I know.
However, it's still a game. Almost all things which are playable are called "games".
Haven't you heard of that? |
