1) Of course, this doesn't just apply to developers, however many developers will know the struggles of having loads of models and having to scroll through them all to find the one you want. If we had the ability to re-order models, developers could place frequently used models at the front, for easier access.
2) Also, I myself am a little bit clumsy, I'll use an example to help demonstrate what I'm talking about here. So, I am making a set of different sized mushrooms (large, medium and small), and I (for some reason...) made the medium ones before the small ones, so they are kinda muddled up now. Having the ability to re-order these would mean that instead of being in this order: - Medium - Small - Large
I could make it: - Small - Medium - Large
Now obviously, issue [2)] isn't really that big of a deal, it's just an example of how I (and other clumsy people) could make use of the ability to organize models and decals. Although I doubt this would be a high priority feature to work on, I do think that it would be pretty neat. It would work by dragging and dropping.
