if Newgrounds was well known, people would, infact, say they were playing Newgrounds, because people would understand they were playing something ON that. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- I couldn't help but laugh at you, implying Newgrounds isn't well known.
This goes to prove you don't understand how any part of the internet works, and you're probably less than 11. |

"Roblox IS a game, because it has it's own currency THAT CAN BE USED FOR MINIGAMES within itself"
So does Steam
"Now Roblox, on the other hand, has lots of user created games within itself, BUT you need an account to properly play it"
So does Steam
" and currency is assimilated and circulates throughout the game."
So does Steam

On iPad,, but you obviously didn't take the time to understand my post.
Roblox is a community of social activities, and it infact IS a game due to groups, currency, items, etc |

Back at you. I just disproved the point you reinstated.

| By your logic, we can also say that the European Union is a video game. |

No, because the European Union is not an activity for pleasure, it is a community of strength, so yes. You can have plenty of FUN while you are PLAYING on the forums, chatting with friends on here, group stuff, or building in studio, and FUN comes from PLAYING, and PLAYING comes from PLAY.
Stop arguing, just accept it. I'm sorry your brain can't wrap itself around my text. |

"No, because the European Union is not an activity for pleasure"
But people can find pleasure in the EU, no? So, with your logic in mind, that makes it a game, no?

| No, people don't say "Oh, I do really love this EU! It's really fun playing it!". But they would say that for Roblox. |

That's not what I'm talking about in any way
Your logic states that anything done for pleasure is a game Therefor, if anyone finds pleasure in something, that makes it a game
Saying "Oh, they don't SAY it's a game, so it isn't" contradicts all the logic you've used up to this point

"No, because the European Union is not an activity for pleasure, it is a community of strength, so yes"
People can find fun in political views. I'm yet to figure out when you realize this world doesn't revolve around your opinions.
"You can have plenty of FUN while you are PLAYING on the forums"
So can we in Steam. Steam is not a game
"chatting with friends on here, group stuff"
So can we in Steam. Steam is not a game
"or building in studio"
So does Unity. Unity is not a game.
"and FUN comes from PLAYING, and PLAYING comes from PLAY."
I don't disagree with that, but that's not the point I'm trying to prove. I said COUNTLESS TIMES BEFORE how Roblox is related to Steam AND Unity, and how you said both aren't games. Yet, you still ignore my points and say Roblox is a game, even though it shares very similar characteristics with Steam and Unity.
So I'll ask you. Is Steam and Unity both games in itself, or just a library to hold games?
"Stop arguing, just accept it. I'm sorry your brain can't wrap itself around my text."
I'm sorry you have to rely on off topic attacks to make yourself feel better about being wrong.
"No, people don't say "Oh, I do really love this EU!"
I guess you've never been to Europe.
"But they would say that for Roblox."
Because more than half this community doesn't know the difference between games and a game engine. Take you, for example.

Google Definition:
a form of play or sport, especially a competitive one played according to rules and decided by skill, strength, or luck
Now, you can be competitive on the forums, and there are rules on the forums and roblox, and sometimes people are better in roblox due to luck, skill, and strength (mentally). Roblox can be argued to be a sport, because the google definition for a sport is:
an activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others for entertainment
You are clicking the mouse and typing on the forums, which makes it a physical action to participate on the forums. Unless you are browsing, which is false because Silver posted a reply. |

EU has competitions and rules decided on strengths, skills, and luck that require physical exertion and team/individual competitions. |

You seem to forget all your earlier logic You expressly said that playing is done for pleasure And everything done for pleasure is playing
Your own logic is caving in on itself as you flat out try to abandon it

Lego, you do quite show too much kiss-up to WiFi when he replied to me, but I will respond with what I have said.
First off, I never said the EU wasn't a game. But, while it is a game in ways, it is not the BEST WAY to describe the EU, because it is more of an agreement of safety, trade, etc instead of purely:
"a form of play or sport, especially a competitive one played according to rules and decided by skill, strength, or luck"
And no, I have not forgotten my earlier logic. I do not like it when you copy and paste my words, it shows that you are too lazy to give an example that holds better use in this situation.

Thanks for ignoring my post, mate
"But, while it is a game in ways, it is not the BEST WAY to describe the EU, because it is more of an agreement of safety, trade, etc instead of purely:"
But you said BY DEFINITION roblox is a game because the DEFINITIONS say that it is.
Are you gonna say the EU isn't a game, even though it fits the DEFINITIONS, because the EU doesn't sound right being called a game despite, being a game in many ways?
The European Union:
Competitive? Yes Decided by skill, strength or luck? Yes Has rules? Yes
So I don't see how the European Union isn't a game, even though it, by DEFINITION, is very similar to how you describe the forums to be a game, by DEFINITION. Or are you just realizing your logic can be applied to the most ridiculous things ever?

WiFi, as I stated earlier, the EU is not purely an activity for pleasure. It is a social group, and cannot purely be described as competitive, and the other traits. But I would rather say something to the effect of "its a group of countries in Europe that hold common purposes of safe trade, etc" rather than a competitive, has rules, and decided by skill, strength, and luck type of thing.
Also, Lego, you are not quite a kiss up, but the morale was boosted in you when he replied, when you were saying you would quit. So this is clearly obvious, I see. |

I said earlier that I was not the man that could properly argue this point Wifi, however, seems to be able to do so And as he's done so, I've noticed more cracks in your argument And thus, have returned to challenge those cracks once more

"EU is not purely an activity for pleasure"
Game:
a form of play or sport, especially a competitive one played according to rules and decided by skill, strength, or luck
"or sport"
And yes it can. Living in Germany and being able to go to France because of the EU international travel system is pleasure in itself.
"It is a social group, and cannot purely be described as competitive"
The EU isn't competitive? HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA
"and the other traits"
Like what?
""its a group of countries in Europe that hold common purposes of safe trade, etc"
Politics require competition, rules, and skills regardless of what you're talking about. The EU is a game based on your definition and logic of what games are.

| You see, I have almost ignored your post, due to the simplicity and repetition of your initial argument, but I see. Although, this is the same as if a leader stepped up to challenge a dictator, and the people then realized it was useful to continue the argument. Although enlightening, the people are still not as wise at the moment as the leader, therefore lesser, in a way. |

I don't have time to deal with this, much more important things to do, but sometimes you must accept defeat.
I am not accepting defeat, simply leaving a futile continuation of your stubbornness. |
