No.
And I don't feel like fighting a holy war for the christian emperor to expand the holy roman empire.
enough people have died for their political ideologies and religious philosophies.
If your gonna die for something make it practical and worth while.

As long as I was directly saving lives, yes.
I would fight tooth and nail. |

You die for nothing.
I don't understand how people can die for something which they cannot even prove is real.
Even so, there are hundreds of other religions which have as much logic & evidence as Christianity or any other religion. So why die for that certain one?
All you have is people dying for their imaginary friends.
Europe did it during the Reformation & Holy Roman Empire The Middle East did it and is still doing it within their Sunni & Shia factions.
The majority of people leading these 'holy wars' are corrupted popes and bishops and holy leaders.
"Go die for Christ"
Said the pope who filled his pockets full of loot from the city of jerusalem.

Why do you have to die for something?
How about live for something?
How about live happily and live a good life for your 'religion'

I am technically a christian.
I've been baptized and a few years ago I'd go to church very often.
Its all silly, even if you still believe in a religion why go so far into KILLING ANOTHER HUMAN BEING, over a belief. it makes no sense.
Christians say die for your faith Muslims say die for your faith.
Do you want the entire world just to fight over something with no evidence?
I find that stupid. |

| Even the majority of christians would believe it would make no sense just to die for that cause. |

All you do is get that stuff from a book.
Islam has a book Judaism has a book. All the other religions have a holy book of some sort.
It was made from a human being.
Even if religion was sacredly true.
There is no method or way to show 'who can really hear gods voices' and who is a faker.
All you need to do is say "I've heard the lords word" build up your own book of philosophy and get people who are too blind sided to believe in it and listen to whatever you say. |

Those 21 people who were executed.
Before they died are you confident to go up to them and say
"You died for your faith! Good job"
You know how many of them would start having a mental breakdown.

"I don't understand how people can die for something which they cannot even prove is real."
You have no honor.
No creed.
To enslave you is to save you.
Believe in the Eagle.
"So why die for that certain one?"
Martyrs come from different backgrounds. Why not tell your captures everything you know about the rebel base.

| I'd like to be a martyr. Even though many people do not believe in my same faith 1) I do 2) it would pass along another message; I don't get swayed easily. |

"I don't understand how people can die for something which they cannot even prove is real."
They don't have to prove its real. It's easy enough to believe in something; after all it's rather comforting "knowing" there is an all powerful being which will grant you "life" after death. I see it as a tool people use to help them get through hard times, and to pressure themselves to be a better person. Nothing wrong with that really. Obviously this is a very optimistic view, and I can only speak for my culture. |
