Hello, I'm RobuxLife!
I been seeing problems all around the help forum that are related to the infinite "ROBLOX is updating, please wait.." loop. This always fixes it for me.
This should work on Windows 7 and Windows 8, I use Windows 7 so this made for them mostly unless you get it to work on Windows 8.
Cheers! :)
1. Go to the windows button on the bottom left corner.
2. Type %appdata%
3. Now click on Roaming. You should have something like:
C:\Users\YourUserHere\AppData\Roaming
4. Then click on the AppData arrow pointing right on the search bar at the top of the roaming, and you should see something that says:
Local LocalLow Roaming
5. Click on Local, and delete the file called ROBLOX
6. After deleting, go to LocalLow and delete RbxLogs and rbxcsettings.rbx.
If you have problems with deleting these, restart your computer or refresh the page by right clicking and clicking refresh
7. Go to your Desktop, and delete all ROBLOX icons, shortcuts, etc.
8. Go to roblox.com/install or click play on any game to re install ROBLOX, when done it will take you to the games page or in-game if you clicked play on a game. There, you are done and it should work! :)
Keep in mind, it will say configuring ROBLOX, or getting the latest ROBLOX, that's installing, don't exit out of the process!
Any questions? Please PM me, and I'll try to help as best as I can!
Did it work? Post below and also PM me! :)
If that fails, try to make a new user account on your computer and use that to play ROBLOX on. It should be a little faster, to do this you need to go to the control panel. I don't know how to do this on Windows 8, but unless you can get to the control panel on Windows 8, then just do these steps! :)
Click the Windows button on the bottom left (Windows 7) Click Control Panel On the right side, it will say User Accounts and Family Safety. Click the Add/Remove user accounts button Click Create a new Account on the middle bottom left Choose to make it a Admin or a regular user account. I suggest picking Admin. Make the username, P@SS, whatever re start your computer log into to that account then go on your web browser, install ROBLOX, and play until whatever time you want! Haha :)
Hope this guide helps! Remember, PM me if you have any questions |

This is assuming that the server will respond, and transfer the files to your computer. That is what a download is. A transfer from a server to a client (computer).
The server isn't responding right now. The download won't start.
