Whether it's too difficult, too easy, or just downright stupid, feel free to inform the rest of VGC about the worst of final bosses
Ripto [Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage] -The game's a cakewalk otherwise, but Ripto is pretty annoying to deal with. As per final boss standards, it consists of multiple phases, but you don't get checkpoints between any of them. The first phase is you and Ripto racing around in an arena, frantically trying to collect 3 amped up orbs to unleash special attacks. Ripto will constantly try to shoot fireballs at you, which are a pain to dodge if you're close [and you kind of have to get close in order to grab orbs]. You can flame him to interrupt him, but you won't be able to do it twice in a row. Once you've taken out his first phase, Ripto will resurrect Gulp, the second boss of the game, and mount him as the hectic grabbing of the orbs continue. Much like the previous phase, Gulp can grab the orbs to power himself up, but all of them are easy to dodge. The real issue is Ripto's fireballs, which are somehow a bit more accurate. After axing off Gulp [again], you and Ripto take to the skies as the arena sinks into a lava lake, and this is easily the most annoying of the phases because the flying controls for Spyro are HORRID. You'll probably have to get close to Ripto to shoot the inaccurate fireballs at him, but doing so risks being hit by Ripto's magic. Even worse is that there's absolutely no way to heal in this phase.
Haven't touched this game since, but before I put it down, I found out that, in the beginning of the fight, that Ripto won't move or attack if you don't. Which is hilarious, considering in the cutscene before the fight Spyro [sarcastically] said he'd stand still for Ripto to test his scepter. I'm gonna start calling him Crashman. |

All the dark souls bosses.
Software employee: Hey, I think we should fix the fact that bosses can glitch through walls and the player can't, and maybe make the bosses more interesting instead of a perfectly timed stabbing game.
Software: Get the frack out...

like 90% of bosses can be beaten without effort just by circle-strafing |

| The most difficult boss I faced was Rocket Racer on LEGO Racers for N64 (1999), took me like 2 weeks to beat him. |

| King K. Rool from Donkey Kong Country, I think. In fairness, all of the bosses in that game were pretty uninspiring. So...really Rool was a perfect step forward in complexity and toughness. But that's just not saying much. |

Megaman x3 Final Boss
Ok so lets begin
The final boss is sigma His first phase is like this think a boss, this boss have a shield that protects from EVERY ATTACK THAT YOU MAKE You can just hit him on over of the child (On his head) Also i didn't meant that this guy spam attack that spit into 2 bullets, did i? Also amount of health
And belive it or not, its just phase 1.
Now think a real final boss This final boss don't have a shield, he have a ARMOR THAT PROTECTS FROM EVERYTHING His Head also seems to be impossible to hit now This final boss have amount of health again this final boss is even more hard to dodge his attack and this final boss is 4x of your size
Now if your manage to survive with 1 Bar of health Lava going on and you need all jump AND dodge his phase 3 part his phase 3 doesn't have health, just need to wall jump in certain point but his attacks are PRETTY hard to dodge.

Cave Story Ballos
Not only do you need to face the hardest level to get to him, you also have to fight a boss named heavy press and deal with no save points
Ballos himself has 4 forms too |

gary smith from bully
it had a really good build up and ost going for it but then it turns to be anti climatic as he's the easiest boss in the game
you can defeat him fairly quickly and he wont put up much of a fight |
