Many of you know what Nintendo is. The creator of many games including mario, pokemon, legend of zelda, etc. With first person shooters now dominating the gaming market... do you think Nintendo is done for? Me being a huge Nintendo fan makes it hard for me to think this but in my opinion... With modern standards... Nintendo is going to disappear just like sega did. What do you guys think? |

It's the other way, around. The first person shooter market is done for.
Ever noticed how nearly every FPS feels the same? Nintendo is creating new IP's and also innovating existing ones. Look at the jump between Metroid Prime and Metroid Zero Mission, that's how you innovate a series.
Oh and SEGA died cause Nintendo dominated the market, forcing them to discontinue creating consoles and release their games on Nintendo's. |

jrad with some quality posting, expect for one thing.
you're right with aspect that most fps being repetitive and feeling the same, but the market for it is no where near dead, but it's not really rising in popularity when i would say by the end of bo2 main stream life time.

| its been said MANY TIMES. Nintendo has enough money to last multiple decades even if they kept failing. Not onlyt hat but their portable market is a success. Seriously? Is this 2012 again? WHy did you forget to mention this stuff? |

i don't get how people reasonably expect each new FPS game to be a dramatic revolution compared to the last version
also nintendo games are very similar to each other too |

I don't mind FPS being similar. Like you said, you cant expect much out of a new one, but the way they have it every year is like... wth XD
Nintendo's games are ore different in each literation then the FPS games tho |

Hell no. I agree with the guy that said you have this the wrong way, it's actually FPS games that are getting boring. Eventually once they get boring people will switch towards Nintendo since they have a big variety of content that doesn't evolve a fricking FPS. |

| Guys, the most important fact is Nintendo has a boatload of money sitting in the bank, enough to let them fail 2 consoles in a row. Plus, they have Amiibo right now which is making them money. |

Nintendo can last ages at the rate of money loss in 2012. The Wii and Nintendo DS were the modern money makers. Now it's nuthing.

It isn't 'basically' the king of handhelds, it IS the king of handhelds. Unless you count phones and tablets, which I don't.

| I wouldn't neccesiarlly consider it being gone but it is a very tough time for Nintendo; I am sure they will recover because many "casual" gamers still use this household item. Nintendo needs to start recognizing the modern market of gaming. |

| If Project NX is a failure, they're done for as a console manufacturer. However, as a software developer and publisher, they're going to be around forever. |
