***DELETING OR MOVING OR LOCKING THIS POST WILL JUST PROVE MY POINT FURTHER***

Some of us don't like the way ROBLOX handles things, bans, events, etc. The only way to get the admins to listen is really posting forums, this is the sad thing. Here ROBLOX, are some pure examples of what we HATE.

1. 'Dev' events. Okay ROBLOX, you want to know why we hate this? There are triple as much problems as a regular admin made event, also, devs are already making a lot of money, you are making the majority of users feel poor in ROBUX, not a great way to set out an event. Then you go and post a blog about TayMaster getting $50K, why thanks ROBLOX, way to make us feel jealous and not so good.

2. Bans. Okay about 3/4 of the time, you make unfair bans, ones people don't deserve. This is out of control. Remember that gift of December 2014? The FIRST one? Yeah, you had to have a year of being not banned, almost no one can do that because of the banning system, not to forget people report for no reason at all. For example, I was once banned for asking if I was lucky to have Messor, LOL I was banned for asking a question.

These are just a FEW examples, plenty more from this site, that will dissapoint many users.

Support But I saw Gordon say they made the events Dev based because ROBLOX was about user-generated content.

@bungy

True but doing that for a whole year? That is just god-forsakenly horrifying

Its not like you won't ever feel tired eating the same cheese over and over and over again (unless you're an American)

They should at least do it twice a year

Not.... This...

Gordon: It's about usergenerated content!

How come the people who aren't devs, don't even have their game featured on events, much less than make it into the blog?

This is totally not a siggy or something like that.

@War Hey, no need to bring stereotypical statements into this.

In terms of their being more problems in dev events, that is simply not true. We can look at Egg Hunt 2015 as an example. When it was released, it had nearly no bugs. If we compare that to Egg Hunt 2014, an admin made event, which opened and closed and opened and closed, we can clearly see that user created events have the ability to run very smoothly.

It's really not about making you feel poor. Sure, an event may help the dev make more money, which is a good thing, but there is nothing stopping you from also creating a game and having this same success. You have the ability to make a game, and it could be in an official ROBLOX event. Anybody can do this, and we hope everybody at least tries.

"Bans. Okay about 3/4 of the time, you make unfair bans, ones people don't deserve. This is out of control. Remember that gift of December 2014? The FIRST one? The rules of ROBLOX haven't changed in a very long time, nor has our moderation system. I think it's pretty clear, if you break the rules you will be moderated. If we want to look back at the gift from 2014, over 200,000 users earned that gift. It was one of the most common gifts we handed out. I don't see that as an issue. If folks are banned and they feel it is unfair, they can write to us at appeals@roblox.com and we will review it.

"How come the people who aren't devs, don't even have their game featured on events, much less than make it into the blog?"

This is very confusing. A dev is anybody who builds something. If you aren't a dev, that means you've not built something, so there isn't anything for us to feature.... If you build something really cool, share it with us and we'll check it out. Get people to play it and get the word out that you've made something cool.

I am willing to bet 100,000 ROBUX that those 200K+ people were inactive and just became active, or were alts. Also, Maybe you should change your moderation system, I own a site, I have a moderation system, and it works much better. 2015 egg hunt was a late start, you guys a week before the hunt, made it, it was late and unfinished, look at 2013 egg hunt, that took a while to build and was perfect.

I still don't see why an event that encourages us all to build something is worse then having 3 develelopers which games are already full of people to build something only to fill their virtual wallet even more.

@Gordon

I believe dev means a person who has USED Dev-ex.
All the events were made by people who have at least used Dev-ex once, hence being a dev.
If you still don't get it, then I can't help you.

That's pretty limiting. There are tons of devs who have never used DevEx. Hopefully one day they will. A dev is simply anybody who consistently creates things. There are devs on ROBLOX who only make models and scripts, who only create images. It is a wide variety of people, not just people who make enough to cashout.
