Looking to put some of my robux into ads for clothing from a popular anime, does advertising shirts & pants still work as well as it did a few years ago?
How much would you recommend putting in for the ads?

I know what kind of ads I'll be going for if I was to get them, it wouldn't be OD ads because I'd be trying to not mislead people.

I made two clothing ads before. I didn't get any extra sales, and I attracted copiers. I suggest advertising a game instead...

How long ago was this kirby?
I ran some ads for assassins creed stuff in 2013 & 2014 and got about 10,000 sales total from them.
Now that the NBC upload thing has been fixed I don't think copying will be as huge as a problem as it has been for the last few months.

@Natteko I made the ads during the 2014 Egg Hunt to advertise my egg-themed clothing.

Kirby that may have had something to do with how much you were running them for and the amount of people who were probably doing the same thing as you at that time

How much you put the ad up for depends on how popular you want it to be. As others have been saying, about 100k is a good price but I'd imagine that would be difficult to make your money back on.
If you get your friend to help you make some high quality stuff then you should get a decent return if you put the ad up for a smaller amount.
This is what I do when advertising a game. Have all the ads I'd like to run, then run each for a small amount. From that you can grade which ad is most popular and invest the most money into that. I have also been told that its better to run the same ad about 3 times at once for say 30k each than run the one ad for 90k. Apparently splitting it up means it gets more impressions or something, not sure if its true though.
Good luck with it anyway. |

Splitting it up would mean more impressions because you'd be running them for multiple days yeah.
I wouldn't really be looking to get my money back from running ads for high amounts, I'm looking to have as many people as possible to wear my clothing.
Are you suggesting I should have multiple ads for each item? That doesn't sound like too bad of an idea actually

Honestly I've never run ads for more than one thing at once, and its always been places so its different to selling clothing. However when I ran multiple ads for my place rather than just investing everything into one big ad, it turned out more people clicked it for the same price.
That however was in about 2013...my god how time has passed. I haven't used the ad system since as I stopped to create some better games to eventually advertise one day. Not made anywhere near as much progress with those as I should have so I can't tell you the results of how that'l work out anytime soon, but its still what I'm going to do.
If you trust my judgement (keeping in mind that even I don't trust my judgement) then try that. |
