the US is not technically 'UK' since we declared independence and separation from it, and we are not apart of the British crown or commonwealth.
it should be the british are technically american since we have so many military bases in great britain.
thanks m8

| USA's culture is so mixed that it can't really be labeled as one heritage, I mean some people from Europe came but add all the Africans, Native Americans (mixed heritage) and all the immigration happening from all over the world, just no. |

"But it was basically uk people"
There were still Japanese, chinese, french, Spanish, German, dutch, Italian, Greek, Portuguese, Irish, Swedish, Norwegians, Hungarians, Romanians, Russians, Polish, Danish, and many more kinds of people there.
In the late 1700s there were more non-British descendents than British descendents in the united states or 13 colonies. |

there was like an 170 year gap between colonization and revolution. that's like 4 generations back then. 4
races can mingle allot, and evolve, in 4 generations so no
also, america is now it's own country uk is its own country
THEREFORE ONE COUNTRY CAN BE BETTER THAN ANOTHER |

Thats like saying the UK is technically Germanic and Roman since the Romans established the very foundation of civilization in the British isles and the anglo-saxon language developed from the Germanic tribes and latin language.
It doesn't work that way.
The american and british people are way different. |

"Some uk people did revolution, made their own country called usa. but its very technically uk."
Then why is it that only 9% of Americans have a British ancestry? |
