| I could replace them with robotic wings. Basically stronger and longer arms, with large artificial feathers attached to them |

| If you chopped your arms off, how would you put the robo wings on |

| Like when amputees get robotic arms or legs, but with better technology. |

| You know these wings would be giant, birds have internal features to make them light and their wings are still gigantic in a proportion of wing span to body span. |

| birds have hollow bones or something so they can fly, if humans were to fly, i heard the wings would be as large as two school busses |

Not necessarily. based on my logic, we do not need wings that big on order to fly.
We can make do with wings of a similar shape of pheasant wings. Since pheasants are ground birds, they cannot fly far, and again, in my logic, if we were to fly, we would be short distance gliders. http://www.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=160932103 |

Ok using an equation of S/(W*H) Or wingspan over Weight times height (using averages) is proportional to the same number with humans. You used pheasents so I will compare the average male pheasent to the average male human.
So 31/(2.6*29.5) or 31/76.7
humans X/(67.2*178) 11961.6
31/76.7 proportional to X/11961.6

you realize those wings would weigh hundreds of pounds
i learned never to go fishing with celebrities: jeremy wade caught a perch and said it was a river monster, billy mays cleaned his trout with a shamwow, and skrillex dropped his bass |

@ninths Yes this is just a rough equation I made up that doesn't cover every variable, when someone smart is on I'll ask them to validate it |

pterodactyls weighed 60lbs at average and had wingspans of 35-40

| plus that is only the length the wing would be , to calculate the other sizes I think the same equation should work just replacing average length with height or width |
