In terms of how much I like them, how applicable they are, how easy they are, etc.
1. C# 2. Python 3. JavaScript
Yeah have only tried out three though |

You are going to HATE Java.
It's one of, if not THE most used programming language, but it's absolutely evil. |

lua is a decent introduction to programming language

| Oh yeah forgot, I had to use Java when I was in robotics for a couple months...It was kind of similar to C# but in my honest opinion they made some things harder than they needed to be, and Netbeans and Eclipse aren't even half as good as Visual Studio is for C#. |

@Lua
I've never actually tried to learn lua, I just said that because sometimes I'll try to script something on my own and I'll be like "wtf" lol. |

@Cheesey
Do it! It'll seem hard at first but if you just do a little bit every day you'll eventually get the hang of it.
I used this to start out: http://channel9.msdn.com/Series/C-Fundamentals-for-Absolute-Beginners
or use Codecademy dot com. |

| Programming is applicable to almost anything, once you learn how to write functions you can do things that you would normally do by hand in seconds. Trust me when I say it'll seem a bit tedious and unnecessary, and of course it's not required, but if you're looking to be more efficient, expand your knowledge, and change the way you look at things, it's a great skill to learn! |

| You can make a database to keep track of all your d####s and calculate profits, costs, check inventory, etc. in seconds. |

| Also if someone is looking for a specific d#### you can bring that specific d#### up and all it's properties at the touch of a button if programmed correctly. |

programming languages ive learned:
javascript java c++ roblox lua (a bit)
ive also learned html and css but thats not a real programming language so.
and also once you learn one programming language it makes learning other ones so much easier because many of the things you learn in one language are used in pretty much every programming language. I first learned some roblox lua and struggled with that. Did javascript last summer and did pretty decent in learning that. Taking a CS course in school with java and im doing pretty good in there. Im currently learning c++ and I honestly breezed through most of it so far up until I hit pointers (which was new to me). You just need to be patient with learning it, take the time to fully understand how each concept of programming works before moving on to the next. |
