When I try to play a game or edit my places, it says "Getting the latest roblox" and it never changes. My main browser is Google Chrome so I tried playing roblox on internet explorer but I still had the problem. When I try to uninstall roblox or roblox studio, the "Getting the latest roblox..." message appears.
Please fix this Roblox, I am bored and I want to play games. |

So far, no successful solutions have been found but please support this thread I made so that ROBLOX will pay attention to this issue.

| Yesterday roblox studio worked fine but the roblox player took 40 minutes to update. Now roblox studio and the roblox player are stuck in an infinite update loop |

Maybe you can uninstall and reinstall the program manually.
Here's another forum to help uninstall manually. https://forum.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=13770845 |

-This is for those who have problems with Roblox, and can't uninstall it-
Step 1 - Open up "My Computer"
Open the next to last drop-down box in the new window. (Service(s) or something, sorry. Russian Windows. :l)
Click on "Folder options" (Or something like that, it's at the bottom.)
You'll see a new window, and then click on the "Show (Second)" tap in the window.
Find the "Hidden folders and files" option. (It should be in a category)
Check "Show hidden folders and files" (Step 1 done, now you can see hidden folders and files!)
Click the Apply button, then the Ok button.
(Done! Now you can see hidden folders and files!) Step 2 - Double click on the C drive. (Or whatever drive you've installed Roblox on.)
Then enter the "Documents and Settings" folder. Inside there, enter the user folder with the same name as your user account (On Windows. *Mostly Admin or Administrator.*) Enter the "Local Settings" folder. Then enter the "Application Data" Delete the folders "Roblox" "RobloxDownloads" "RobloxVersions"
(Done! Now to clean the registry so that it's fully gone. (And you can install it again, if that's what you want.)
Step 3 - #C#o###### window you've opened. Click on the "Start button" (In the bottom-left corner of the screen.)
Then click "Run"
Type in "regedit"
Enter the folder "HKEY_CURRENT_USER" Then enter the "Software" folder inside it.
Delete the entries "ROBLOX Corporation" and "Roblox Reg" Ignore the warnings that pop up, and choose to delete them anyway.
(Done! Now Roblox is fully gone from your computer!)
-That's all folks, now you can install Roblox again, or forget about it. (You can always join again..)- |

This has happened to me twice, and the only thing that has fixed it for me, is time. After about a day, it would upgrade and configure roblox, and I could go back to enjoying games. If this doesn't work for you, than I hope you find another way that works.

This occurred to me multiple times,
load it up on 'internet explorer', then if it works create a new user on your PC and then try install the on that user.
You've probably messed around with the roblox settings (x64). |
