i would ahve gave it to filip forsberg, but unfortunately he did not make the final 3
so out of the final 3
ekblad - he is a great defencemen, brought back some tension on the florida backend, but i do not believe he was spectacular enough to be calder finalist. maybe next seaosn or the season after, but this season he was pretty unstable, i believe john klingberg played better than ekblad and as if he was more implemented as an nhl defencemen
jhockey - insanely skilled player, such great coordination and skating ability. amazing job of holding his own at just over 150 lbs. he comes up big alot and on ocassion takes the flames under his wing, insane rookie season.
mark stone - just a clutch player, if i were to give it out of these 3 it would be my boy mark stone. he is the definition of clutch, his offensive ability sprouted at the end of the season, sparked by the hamburgerlar. when hammond took the backend on his wing for the future prominent comeback story of the sens, stone took the frontend, tallying up 38 points since hammonds first start. if he does not win calder he is a good candidate for memorial hart |
