Okay, so think about this. Think about if we get gene and body modification to the point where people never age and have the perfect genes for whatever they want to do.
We won't have to try to be good at something. We'd just naturally have that ability saved in us. And then competitive things would die out, but our society is based all around competition.
Without competition, what does the human race have left to do? |

As of right now, we have no realistic way of space exploration that won't take several thousand years to do.
And I feel like cancer will have been cured before any of this happens. |

I am pretty sure the cure to cancer is something to do with cannabis.

well who knows, maybe we will all die by the time we reach this point, or we will discover SOMETHING to help us travel the stars. some inventions are found by accidents, maybe we accidentally will find some kind of infinite fuel source? well who knows [2] |

| I'm pretty sure the cure will come when we better understand the structure of cells and fundamental particles. |

| There is one theory that mathematically works that would allow us to travel faster than the speed of light, pretty much at an infinite speed, however, the theory requires you to have a fuel source with a mass that is negative, which is impossible. |

i've heard of a cure possibly created by the use of jellyfish cell regeneration, since they do that yknow. but in order to have a never-aging body, we may have already learned to harness regeneration, so cancer could've already been solved by then |

I want to live at least to the point where there is a secondary planet for human life to develop.
