ok so i want to go to this girl's party
but i don't have a car yet even though i'm 17. i'm working on it..
so anyways, i'll probably get drunk. meaning that i'd have to wait for my drunkenness to wear off, and put on something to cover up the alcohol smell, and then call my dad to pick me up.
there aren't really any designated drivers going probably, by the end of the night anyways..
so idk should i just "accidentally" crash at her place or do my other strategy because i honestly don't know if i want to ask one of my drunken friends to drive me home.
help c&g |

@Unto Why do they call it a law if it can be broken? Pretty sure "law" only fits with science. |

wow are you really going to get onto me about breaking the law at least i'm being responsible, more or less, about it
Also, Sly is merely pointing out how science has laws that are more definitive, as opposed to the government's overreaching monolith of laws of which are ineffective largely because of their large quantity. Reduce the amount of laws, especially unnecessary or fragmented laws, and that'll lead to fewer people going to jail or facing legal consequences and, hence, less money allotted from taxpayers to pay for other peoples' wrongdoings. |

| I didn't say I had to in order to have fun, but it's no secret that it'll improve the already fun experience, as long as it's done in moderation. If you don't think so, then you've probably never done it, but I do appreciate your self-righteousness. |

| At least it's not every single weekend or anything like that; for me, it's only on festive holidays or the occasional party done in celebration and a responsible manner. |

Being responsible about it doesn't change the fact that you're breaking the law. And yes, I understand what he meant. What he's wrong about it that laws in the context of human society are government-enforced rules that are put in place to govern behavior. A vast majority of those laws are in place to protect people.
I agree that the US code of law should be shortened and simplified, but breaking the current laws does absolutely nothing to change what's already in place. All it does is put you in danger of being caught. |
