I was being stupid at school laughing around and junk and I leaned back and I fell out of my chair and I couldn't grab on to anything and landed wrong on the shoulder/neck area. Going to go see a chiropractic tomorrow (4-23-15). I can not move my head to the right nor can I put any pressure on that side (right)
A cervical sprain: is an injury in the neck in which the ligaments are stretched or torn. The ligaments are the tissues that hold the bones of the neck (vertebrae) in place. Cervical sprains can range from very mild to very severe. Most cervical sprains get better in 1 to 3 weeks, but depends on the cause and extent of the injury. Severe cervical sprains can cause the neck vertebrae to be unstable. This can lead to damage of the spinal cord and can result in serious nervous system problems. Your caregiver will determine whether your cervical sprain is mild or severe.
Causes: Severe cervical sprains may be caused by:
>Contact sport injuries (football, rugby, wrestling, hockey, auto racing, gymnastics, diving, martial arts, boxing). >Motor vehicle collisions >Whiplash injuries. This means the neck is forcefully whipped backward and forward. >Falls. (aka what I had)
Let me know if you had anything like that or a random story in the comments below. I'm bored and can not sleep, this is why I posted this.

| Well I have the paper from the doctor that handed it to me, so it's not only for girls. But no it's when your ligament is torn or stretched. |

Oh wow, best of luck dude.
You should be alright if it's only mild. I managed to get something like that turning my head rapidly to one direction while in the shower. I was in pain all day during a school field trip ages ago.
Apparently you can get a sprain with wet hair? |

| @item, no it was probably because you jerked your neck a certain way because of your hair. |
