As your bananas finally run dry after one hundred-fifty years of hiding in a bunker deep underground, a scientist runs up to your with his grape-jelly glasses and shouts; "Sir! Sir! The radiation is practically gone! It's finally safe to go back out!" Your people cheer as they hear the scientist claim that it's finally safe to go back outside.

You eat the last piece of your cake and put on your poker face. Without saying anything but blankly staring at your people with a poker face, they rejoice.

They rush out of the bunker and immediately set up a grape farm to increase the population. Although, you only have about four seeds so you get +4 population per turn.

While you were down there, your people found a new form of currency; pressed grape seeds with your icon stamped on it and your son's on the other side.

Oh I forgot, your son, Birmathur, yeah, he's an adult now. Although, everyone else died. Including your wife.

Island Description:
Your island has a sea tinted purple around you with trees that have mutated a coconut-grape mix. Your people call them Graconuts. A series of Graconut trees line the shoreline towards the east while a fjord carves out towards the middle of the island. A triplet of mountains towards the north have peaks of ice. Merpeople from sea-caves have been attacking boats you hear from one of your scouts. A native tribe has settled towards the fjord with scavenged technology.

Economy:
You have no established trade routes with anyone else but with the production of Pressed Grape Seeds or PGS, economy blossoms in your colony. You have 1500 Pressed Grape Seeds.

Soldiers:
Grape Ninjas: These people were trained by the Association of Shadow & Bros. to use optical illusions to their advantage and skilled with sharp weapons. They wear black cloth with a purple lining and can do epic parkour. They cost 50 Pressed Grape Seeds.
Suicide Grapes: They used powdered sticks and stick them onto their chest using grape jelly. They do 5% more damage to buildings than other units. (Basically 10.5 damage to a building.) They also cause unrest amongst the ranks of the enemy. Costs 100 Pressed Grape Seeds.
Rifle Grape: With sticks and powdered chambers and small darts, these grapes are used to primarily take out enemy infantry. They wear grape plumes on their wooden helmets and silver-threaded epaulettes. Costs 25 Pressed Grape Seeds.

Natural Resources:
Graconut Bark.
Graconut Fruit.
Gravel.
A cave full of stone.

Buildings:
Grape Farm: Grape farms boost your population by +10 population per turn. They cost 500 PGS.
Munitions Factory: This is used to create more Rifle Grapes in a shorter amount of turns. Costs 250 PGS.
Palace: A palace made of graconut bark, this is where you can control your armies, research major things, discuss matters with foreign leaders and enjoy plenty of wine and pies.

What kind of stage am I on research?

Attempt to contact the merpeople, and try to be peaceful with them. Buy two Grape farms, recruit ten rifle grapes, and use the rest to attempt to stabilize any things occurring in the nation.

In an attempt to increase approval and economy I put the past behind us and offer graponut fruits in exchange for a resource they produce.

How happy are my people? Begin building a munitions factory, however if I go lower than 300 CGS halt production. Is there any large source of wild life nearby, particularly things that can be mounted?

Your people are happy.

You build a munitions factory.
Construction cost: 250 Darkmetal coins
Labor fee: 50 Darkmetal coins
Total cost: 300 Darkmetal coins
Total Darkmetal coins: 400 Darkmetal coins

There are navy blue quadrupedal beings close by. They have a circular head with four hooded shaped eyes above the other set. On their head there is a "mohawk" that is colored yellow. Their eyes are yellow, too. They have four sharp claws on all four of their feet. They also have a proboscis. Their forked tail has barbs which can produce a deadly toxin.

>Darkmetal coins

not raging just saying

Anyway, I keep note of this, though decide now isn't the time to focus on our military status and instead work on the needs of the people and economy. Set up a school system like so:

Seedementary School: Teaches the basics of writing, math, science, and history, giving information greatly needed to be a successful Grape in their future life. Attendance is mandatory.

Grapedle School: Goes further in depth into the various topics, and Grapes now have a little bit more freedom over what classes they attend, though math, writing, science and history are required for people who attend. Attendance is not mandatory however if a child wants to go to school the parents must allow him/her to, otherwise be charged with minor abuse.

Vine School: Begins the most advanced level of Grape education there is. Students have complete control over subjects they wish to learn about. Includes more violent topics such as war strategies and stuff. Attendance is not mandatory though highly recommended for those that attended Grapedle school.

We also have colleges.

(UGM, I apologize. I was looking at Dark's thread while writing a reply to your thread.)

You're people are edumacated now.

ACHIEVEMENT GET:
Sir, the answer is 21.
Create a school system.

Your education system costs 1000 PGS for teacher upkeep and food services. Mind you this is only for a public school system. You can make it private and have each student's signage up to 200 PGS before your people begin to question your intentions.

A new branch of technology has opened up!

The Revolving Chamber!
The Revolving Chamber technological schematic provides that bullets can be used in a cylinder that can be turned by the flick of the thumb to allow a new bullet to be fired. This reduces reload time and increases fire rate.
You can recall all of your Grapish Riflemen's rifles and have the chambers replaced with a revolving chamber. It will cost 500 PGS to recall the guns and install the new chambers.

Private, for now. Of course, once our economy further develops I'll make it public, but for now...

Begin the worship of a grape god, JeffTheSwordShark, a creator god, Precisonfire23, and a devil, Soardlo.

Build a very small boat now that we have made peace with the merpeople and begin searching for other people.

Ask the merpeople for a military alliance.

The boat only fits one Grapish rifleman but he does the job.

The Merpeople decline due to them being worried you might drag them into a war.

Wait for him to return with news of newfound land, hopefully, and head up north, searching for potential colonization opportunities in the future.

While exploring, your Grapish Rifleman spots a pirate ship. He figured there'd be loot on it so he crept up and snuck aboard, tying his dinghy onto one of the loose plank ends. In the cargo bay, he found prisoners and loot and advanced weaponry. He was then captured but, escaped and freed the prisoners. While they were fighting, the rifleman killed the captain and the prisoners killed the rest of the pirate crew. Most of the prisoners were killed in combat but the rest decided to stay with the Grapish Riflemen. It turned out that the cargo bay had five assault rifles and advanced tactical equipment. It will take him three turns to sail back to the Kingdom of Birmania. He reports that he has twenty crew members with him.
