* your parents do not want to buy you the things you want to get * lots of things take time to ship * shipping costs can be expensive * clothing can be expensive * literally everything you want is sold out * everything

| I've managed to get by looking good in clothes from goodwill, consignment shops, and walmart. I've got a few pricey items, but that's only because they're merino wool. Anyway, price doesn't determine what looks good. I where clothes that fit me well, and match my style. It's hard to go wrong with dark-wash blue jeans and a nice button up shirt that fits with rolled up sleeves. |

| If I want to buy something online it comes out of my own money. I don't think my parents have bought me something like clothes in a year or so. Growing up kinda sucks in that respect. I'm 18, got myself a debit card and a somewhat irregular income, and I have to buy all of my own stuff now. The day after my 18th birthday my parents pretty much told me that from this point onward I was responsible for my own stuff. Want your cell phone to keep working? Here is the bill. Want some clothes? You can buy them yourself. I digress. |
