| A character sheet is a brief overview of the character you're planning to play for the upcoming roleplay. Most roleplays will require a character sheet; long or short. You'll explains the basic things of said character, say their name, age, gender, appearance, personality, and history. Sometimes other bits and pieces are added on. It all depends on the OP. |

| Do you actually play the Charater in-game or something? |

| @OP, you will figure out this stuff soon, you just need to get some experience in this sub-forum. |

| Rarely do we actually take written roleplays in-game. We roleplay it out here, in a sequence much like reading a book. |

You play that character on the thread, not in a game.
Or, you might just pt it on there to see if others like it. |

But just a question... What does OP stand for.

| It depends on the context it's used in. When someone says @OP, it means 'Original Poster'. The slang also stands for 'over-powered', which is a part of character designed. |

| Original poster, basically they're the person who created the thread. |

| How do we actually do this Role playing with our charaters on a thread? Do we just post lines our charaters say? Do we just give the director charaters and he creates all the lines and make the thread? |

@wes
If you want, join Organized crime RP. I'm frankly a bit new to running an RP, so it'll be a learning experience for all of us. |

| @OP, you should go right now and look through some rps so you can understand forum doing, ok. |

| Oh so the director just takes Charater names to form a story... So I'm guessing the maker of the charaters gets a part in this because his Charater gets to be in the rp |

Well, the original poster would act as the 'Director', as you mentioned. In a way.
Really, though, [s]he isn't permitted to control said characters without permission of their creators. That would be power-playing. Together, the OP and the joiners write; following a set plot, or creating one along the way. |

| Yes, for some examples, you could join some new rps, you just look over them to understand. |

Admins?
Well, er the admins of a roleplay act as the disciples, in a way. When the OP is offline, they help further the plot. Most of the part, they participate in the roleplay as a character. They help the joiners understand, and follow the rules set down by the OP. Or they get special privileges that the joiners do not, sometimes. |

| Yes. Like in some instances, if you were in a fantasy roleplay thread, the admins might be able to be a different thing, perhaps a Wyvern. |
