| Is the one thing WIJ have failed to produce to us. A clan with a fully functioning fort with spaceships and satellites (checkpoints) and all that, it'd be the hottest and funniest fort ever. |

| @Helm Xelia is actully going Sci-fi, and we as a group will have Spaceships, Mech's(Knightmares), and others. |

Are you looking for big ships that you sit in or little ships that you control a-la an RTS/MOBA style?
There are a number of clans, mostly garbage UNSC ones, that do the former.
They're bad though. |

| not what the garbage UNSC clans do, like it's almost completely based in space, you spawn in like an outpost then you get ships to capture satellite checkpoints or something like that and the main checkpoint is the enemy ship or planet and yeah ya see where i am going? |

Yeah
The issue is that you need really good scripters to do something from scratch, and most of the people with good game design ideas are not also good scripters.
It would be easier if, say, roblox had never broken Zuka tech (which were used to control large capital ships via vuttons in 08/09). It destroyed any ability to have large capital-ship battles for, basically, up until around one or two years ago.
Even then, the scripting would be intense. People would get mad that they don't get KOs. Clans would make some ships OP because "we r the defneders we get advantag!!!" (even SS admitted to giving WIJ stupid advantages in his idea for a space fort)
Basically, it's really really really hard to do something like this.
It's a good idea, though. |

Hero does have a good point.
I think we sadly are far off from having something like that happen again not only due to Hero's stated reasons but because we as a community value money over progress and so instead of making our inventions open-sourced and available to be reviewed/ modified we charge ridiculous prices for stupid things like databases.
Long story short:
Progress can not come without sacrifice. That sacrifice would have to be our greed. Considering the community that greed shall persist as long as roblox does. |

More so on my point: We'd need not only the developers to mature more, but for the rest of the community to mature as a whole before we can truly progress. That and by the time developers are mature enough to know to open-source things the majority of them have already left roblox by then. |
