DISCLAIMER: I know S&I is where a lot of really bad ideas form and this may be a bad idea too. This is just a suggestion, but feel free to argue why this should or should not be implemented.
This is a place where kids can learn how currency is like: developing clothing, games, and groups. Why not add a feature that reflects upon life? Instead of earning this "allowance" everyday, why not make robloxians work for their "weekly paycheck" so that they can buy that "cute hat" they've been wanting? The feature of jobs-- would give the roblox community a purpose, instead of deadbeats patroling the forums or the ridiculousness of the ATR forum raiding FEAR.
Mentioning jobs, here are a few suggestions that this could work out with. -Groups: Hey, you've seen those real world company roblox groups, like Starbucks or D&D. Then you would also know that the sole purpose in these groups is to gain a promotion. If the idea of jobs gets implemented on these groups, the purpose of getting a promotion could be for a better income. There are also the groups that haven't gotten real-world fame but are pretty popular with roblox; Kestrel is one of them. By making clothes for these groups, clothiers may be able to get a commission of the sales. -Teaching: The real world's a dangerous place. By teaching kids the basics of working beforehand, they may have a smaller chance of becoming scammed/cheated out of money when they're grown up. -Purpose: I know I said this before, but I still want to put an emphasis on the whole thing. By adding jobs to roblox, people will have a purpose in the game. Now, there may be forum post count, group reputation, game status, and trading, but only a few include the consumers; the people who play those games, read those posts, participate in these groups. Not only does this add to these "Non-BC" members, but to BC members as well: such as (just a suggestion) maybe a higher income or something. |

I agree with your opinion that we should apply ROBLOX to life, but if we do, how would we work? Just playing Twisted Murderer every day? Some people make sure they go online each day on ROBLOX just to earn ten tix. Even though it is a little amount, it encourages the young minds of the game to play more. Of course I agree with the fact that kids need to get off the computer and play outside on a sunny day, but each website wants to get more people online. In fact, I think that we should get not only tix everyday, but also robux. NBCer's have a hard time getting robux because 1 robux cost 80 tix or so. If you can't give us robux as our "allowance", then give us a free way to earn robux. Downloading free apps, doing surveys, ext. We shouldn't have to spend real money buying ROBLOX game cards or buying robux online. Yes, the company needs money and that's why they already made an entire game for kids to play.
I kind of got off key back. My point is, the 10 tix they give us a day is fine. We don't have to work for this currency.
P.S~Forum is for forums only. That bump thing is annoying.

@Kat
The 10 tix a day is a wonderful feature and I'm fine with it. What I'm saying is that a job implementation for kids to earn more tix would be a great feature as well. Playing twisted murder all day would not be the only job out there. For example, there could be -Rating games; writing reviews; encouraging the community of new devs out there -Frontpage games on roblox already have jobs like "Working at a Pizza Place" -Foruming; & other
"but each website wants to get more people online" Yes, a jobs feature would get more people online; I'm not implying that kids SHOULD go out on a sunny day.
"Downloading free apps, doing surveys, ext" Now this should have been a feature a long time ago. I agree with what you're saying here. Not all kids have the access to a virtual wallet, but with these things, now they would be able to. |

@Youngripify, I think that making groups that you can earn tix by doing jobs for the group and such. It does sound like a good idea for players to be able to earn tix for doing stuff that helps a group or play along with what the group does.
For example: Coffie House
Groups like the Coffie House have members that serve coffie and other jobs. Maybe they could also earn money for doing a certain job. But the question is; where will the money come from? From the group funds or will the roblox staff have to put more money into the game? Making prices to up. |

@busy Yeah, many virtual games simulate real life occurrences, have you ever seen simulators on steam? |

Terrible idea. Some kids actually have lives and can't waste their day "working" on a kids site, this is practically slavery, I mean come on now. What does this sounds like to you:
"Let's take hundreds of 6-14 year olds across the country, and even across the globe, and force them to work everyday in order to buy virtual hats"
That sounds cruel. Spending 5 min to simply log in and get 10 tix is fine for some. Spending 5 hours working away 24/7 is just impossible.
If you wanna work for extra cash there's 1 job, the 1 thing ROBLOX is ALL about; developing.

they need to make ROBLOX more of a game that incorporates skill to financial success, and less of a pay-to-win game |
