AcR, or Acerian Regime, is a recently-opened clan (as of toady,) that has recently gained a lot of publicity, good and bad, from the clan world.
Many people are clueless as to what the clan is, as it is "new" in terms of being open, but I was well aware of what this clan was before it made an official release.
When I first noticed the group I had nothing but high hopes of ice180 and his leadership. I support fledgling clans all the way, and even at the start it flattered me that someone would be inspired enough to make a clan with influences from A-SOV.
I never really did anything on the matter, as it was more humbling than insulting. Eventually ice180 and LeQuota came to me with an alliance proposal, which I was initially interested in to support their group. However, I inquired as to if they did have any influences gathered from A-SOV.
Ice confirmed this suspicion, and that's when it did start to be a small problem of mine. Even still, I supported the clan; but as time progressed I did not like what I was seeing.
It goes as far as using the "community-oriented" ideology in a clan that lacks a good one, learning that the raiding system was just a mimicry of ours, an acronym that follows our style, even down to the logo and group description.
All I see from this clan, and from ice at this point, is an attempt to capitalize. AcR is attempting to capitalize on another clan's potential success, but making up for their one flaw through the means of currency - releasing quickly.
I'm disappointed to find that all of this "inspiration" is simply just an attempt for self-gain by taking from others.
AcR tarnishes the ideologies it gathers from other clans and disgrace the very clans they take their influences from. It's for this reason that as one of the largest influences behind the creation of the Arcerian Regime that A-SOV no longer supports AcR in any way.
Ice, if you wish to start a clan to last for the ages and inspire many others, make your own. Take inspiration, but do not steal potential. |

I agree.
This is coming from me, who is a VERY high rank in AcR and the second in command of A-SOV.
AcR has literally been trying to nibble on our potential for a while.
And because of this, I will be taking my leave from AcR.

It's upsetting to me as an artist to see ice try to pass off someone else's almost a year of work as their own, and to go so far as attempt to usurp that original influence.
A-SOV does not deserve this. |

| All I need is seeing them in development for a few months and their first day of release to know what I think. |

It's just ridiculous, honestly.
Sure, it's fine to base some things off of a clan, but do not take it to far where you're literally blocking their potential and adding it to your own.

While some of the folks in the group are great, it's not exactly power clan potential, the number of idiots that can't stay quiet or ask a question for less than a minute is rather annoying, as well as the number of people in it that just can't plain fight decently at all.
Sorry ice, like you, like the group itself, just there are people that don't need to be in it, that is what is ruining it right now.
I'll put my fruit in your box |

What the hell?
All we've done is declared war on FEAR since we've opened. Is this serious? |

I agree with some parts on here and disagree with others. Nonetheless, well said and explained. |

| Keno, the training place is just kind of.. normal. It's the "standard" training place for a sci-fi clan, really. |

Keno, do you know what we are talking about?
We're not talking about base/training look-a-likes, we're talking about a clan that is trying to be like and us and steal potential.

Yes, peli, but that's only a small part of the problem.
Many clans use acronyms that are not their initialisms ever since A-SOV and TRICON did it. I don't really care about it. |
