ok
ik you're joking but for anyone who is moronic enough to be seriously peta-like
last year my family made over 7'000 dollars on sheep alone.
coyotes kill our sheep taking 100+ dollar chunks out of our yearly sheep income
so coyotes get rekt |

| You're a terrible livestock keeper if they happen to get in there. It's the 21st century for goodness sake, don't you have anything better than a makeshift wooden fence a grandmother could push over? |

I guess electric fences don't exist. In that case the electricity used for this computer shouldn't either?
Yeah lets just ignore the obvious choice here. |

1. they can just jump over an electric fence
2. putting an electric fence all around a 300 acre farm isn't easy nor is it cheap enough to be anywhere near plausible for your average farmer
3. they can go under or through it easily |

foxes are good to kill too since they kill chickens and young lambs
and coons and possums since they kill chickens |

"jump over" The clearance of a 6 foot wall doesn't mean they clear anything above it. "cost" I'm fairly sure it will outweigh the cost of how many livestock are killed by coyotes, which is presumably low because no one is enough of a fool to live in an area where there's enough coyotes that you have to continually shoot them yourself in a 300 acre area that you couldn't possibly maintain all at once. |

i've never seen a 6+ foot electric fence unless it was in a prison or something
most are like 3-4 feet high

well typically we catch them in a snare and then shoot them
and coyotes migrated here in the mid 90's so |

3 - 4 foot?
3 foot is waist high, I don't know how that keeps anything in or out. |

yeah, and most are 2-3 strands running along
i usually run up to the one electric fence we have on the farm (my uncle's makeshift horse ring) and roll under it for giggles
i can also bend and get in between two of the wires and just step through
electric fences really aren't that practical tbh
also they're super light so wind (which is very strong here) will just blow them away |

| The fence at my grandmother's farm (disregard the joke I made, I wasn't referencing MY grandmother) is almost as tall as I am. Given, it's a farmette, but still. She hasn't had a coyote in years since new fencing was installed. Even then, it was only a couple chickens and a cat that were killed, not any of the goats. |

coyotes dont typically kill goats because they're large enough to put up a decent fight
if it's an electric fence a coyote can go right through or under it even if he gets shocked
if its a wire fence they can still easily get through or under |
