Hmm, You can decide if any of these things make me insane. I prefer to think of it as living an adventurous and interesting life.
I've eaten the hottest pepper in the world, the second hottest, and the third hottest pepper.
I have jumped off of a 850 foot building.
I have eaten fire (although it did end up giving me second degree burns around my mouth when I failed doing it my third time).
I have been surrounded by five police cars late at night with guns drawn and pointed at me before. We (those involved) call that the Whipped Cream Incident.
I built a human catapult in my backyard with my brother and got launched 20 feet.
I'm currently reading The House of Leaves
I've read Mein Kampf, The Anarchist's cookbook, Steal this Book, The Communist Manifesto, and a couple other frowned upon books (I figured I should have first hand knowledge, not go off of what someone else has said). |

@Krozia,
One night I was out with my best friend and my brother. It was late at night (10? It was Autumn so it was dark) and we were just goofing around. We had bought some jarritos soda and a couple cans of whipped cream because whipped cream. We drank the jarritos with whipped cream on top. Delicious, by the way, I recommend it. We were swinging on some swings, too. Eventually we decided to head back to my place which was about 1 1/2 miles away. We took the back roads. My brother had I Got The Magic In Me by BOB playing on his phone and we were kicking the empty whipped cream bottles down the road making sparks fly. When ever a car would pass we would make funny poses. Eventually as we turn one corner nearing a glass factory we see a light come around another bend further ahead. Just one light, mind you. Very bright. Then the light started to move, not just forward mind you, but in a sweeping pattern across the road. It was a spotlight. We were confused, but didn't pay it much heed. We did stop kicking the whipped cream can, though, because we didn't want it to go under the upcoming car. Eventually the light got closer and landed on us. Seconds later all we can hear is "Stop where you are and put your hands up!" We can't see anything in front of us except for the light. We did hear a car door open, but not close. We did stop and put our hands up. Within the minute three police cars arrived behind us and another police car stopped in front of us, completely blocking off the road and surrounding us. Ever car had its doors open, a cop crouching behind it with their gun drawn. We are thoroughly confused at this point. Also terrified because I realize that any quick action is going to result in a bullet hole in my chest.
We get on our knees, fingers laced behind our heads as per their instruction. We had a police officer come over to us and search our persons. I got the one with the handlebar mustache. Anyway, it turns out that they had gotten a call in that three teenagers had been firing a gun at passing cars. It dawns on us at this point that the sparks and noise caused by the whipped cream can in addition to my brother making James Bond poses when cars passed must have confused someone. The cops also thought that we were snorting whipped cream. I don't know who would snort whipped cream, but apparently that's a thing. They took our names and information, processed us, then made us apologize to them for causing such an inconvenience even though it was just a misunderstanding before letting us go on our way.
It is this incident, and a couple others that have resulted in the entire police force in my town knowing who I am. I kinda wish they didn't. |

Ya know, I've done a lot of stupid and some illegal stuff during my high school career (the story is when I was a sophomore, I think), but it turns out the time that I legitimately wasn't doing anything wrong is the time I get the most severe consequences.
Do stupid stuff, but be smart about it--stupid stuff makes great stories, but if you aren't smart about it you might end up dead. I've done a lot of stupid stuff, but they were calculated risks. I mean, sometimes they weren't and it ended up just fine, but I would feel like a bad person if I just said "do stupid stuff." |
