| They've been on sale for a little over 24 hours. Sell out of 67,000 at Stade de Olympique likely. |

1. Canada cares about Soccer less than America does. It's funny since Montreal only has 1 Canadian on the roster and he plays. 2. They wont. |

i know, which is why seeing a canadian mls team make the ccl final is actually funny to me.
"2. They wont."

| MLS teams don't take the CCL seriously. It's the fact that they have to play group stage games during MLS off-season while Liga Mx and other Central American leagues have 2 seasons a year. |

"MLS teams don't take the CCL seriously."
they should because the idiots in marketing don't realize that it gets the league and the teams in it more exposure and if they get into the cwc, they get a fair bit of money. not only that, but an mls team that wins the ccl has a chance to go up against the winner of the ucl, which means even more exposure for them.

western sydney wanderers had to play the acl final legs in the off season against al-hilal (while also being huge underdogs). they still won, made it the cwc, made heaps of money and got heaps of exposure. one of their players, tomi juric, is now being linked with a move to some of the big leagues in europe because of what he did. |

1. All of their goals in the competition except for one were scored by Americans (that one guy was Argentinian). The majority of their team is American, as is the case with the other two Canadian MLS teams. There is only one Canadian that has been listed on their matchday roster in the competition, and he made one appearance for a total of 10 minutes.
2. I never said they would win, I'm confused as to where you read that. |

"1. the public are not shown CCL games, so no exposure there"
they should be shown ccl games.
"2. nobody gives an ass about the Club World Cup"
yes they do. imagine montreal v real madrid or bayern munich.
"3. yay nice job being the first Australian team to win an AFC title"
i don't go for wsw so i don't care, but as a fan of australian football, i've seen what happens when you're successful in competitions like the ccl. |
