function anchor(object) object.Anchored = true --Without this, the player would go to heaven...(You know what i mean) object.SkateboardPlatform.ControllingHumanoid.Anchored = true wait(0.1) object.Anchored = false object.SkateboardPlatform.ControllingHumanoid.Anchored = false end
What i'm trying to do is when this function runs, anchor object, and the object's controller. Inside this object is a seat named SkateboardPlatform. I'm calling it's controlling humanoid and trying to anchor the controller. Whenever it runs, it says "SkateboardPlatform is not a valid member of Part". |

object.SkateboardPlatform.ControllingHumanoid.Anchored = false
No this will never work. Stop making stuff up. Go find script that works, and mod it.
U are getting that error, because object is not the Parent of Skateboard. Once u fix that u will get is "Anchored is not a member of ControllingHumanpid", because tha "Humanid" object is not a Part, and does not have an Anchoredd property.

Then what is the parent of SkateboardPlatform? "Object" is a variable referring to "Board" or the group/parent. Isn't the group a parent?
I haven't been able to find any scripts that relate to getting the torso of the humanoid controlling the SkateboardPlatform. Could you help me out here? I didn't make this up btw. By the looks of other scripts, i put this together. |
