Hello ATR. I'd like to address an issue I find very important to the future of roblox as a whole.
Why are there only two gender options?
News Flash: There are more than 2 genders. If you didn't know that, what the HELL have you been doing?
This is oppressive to the Agender, Androgyne, and Gender Fluid communities. Boy or Girl? Genders are just a simple social construct, it's not biologically divided into two groups. And why is the "boy" button wearing pants and the "girl" button wearing a skirt? Why can't a girl wear pants and a boy wear skirt? People with actual brains who don't adhere to the social norms couldn't tell the difference, because boys can wear skirts, and girls can wear pants.
Roblox, you've done some bad things, but I didn't think you could get this low... |

I don't mind there being only 2 gender options for roblox but on facebook it does get annoying |

can someone actually explain to me what all this supposed genders mean
because as far as I'm concerned a lot of them are as fake as the "plant gender" blog I saw on Tumblr yesterday

| I do have 2 transgendered best friends in real life who are both biologically female but if they came onto here they would probably put themselves as male |

Right, there are actually only 2 genders, male + female. However there are sub category as you listed. It is VERY rare to be born with both / none of the primary obvious physical traits of a gender.
The sub-category's are usually just emotional feelings. And as for the Dressing of the characters. The stick MAN is the universal symbol for a male. and the stick WOMAN with the dress is the universal symbol for a female. I must point it out that the majority of people on earth don't cross dress nor has everyone swapped genders (emotionally or gone through surgery).
It is fine the way it is, you understand the difference between a male and female stick figure? This DOESN'T mean the character HAS to dress according to the gender. It is merely a symbolic illustration.

| And actually a boy can not wear a dress unless there is something wrong with him. If you are a male in your right mind you do not wear a dress. next thing you know there will be so many boy who like boys and girls who like girls there will be no more kids. human were meant like this, male and female, female and male no other way. |

I'm genderfluid myself and have 2 trans best friends, who all don't mind admitting they are biologically female
You are born with one gender but you grow up in different ways, like I am female but I've always been into boyish things and started to become a bit of a tomboy but that doesn't change the gender I was born as
same with my 2 best friends, they are still technically female, just the way they changed and grew up made them want to become something else |

I think that is very inconsiderate. I don't think you understand how emotions work. I am probably being banned for turning this into a debate and I am expecting allot of hate from this; however, liking or preferring the same gender over the opposite is completely FINE.
I myself am very much male, and I would rather date a male than female. Infact, after recent studies it is predicted only 20% of the worlds population (which is about 1.5M people (YES. WE ARE STILL PEOPLE.) out of the near enough 8M humans) prefers the same gender. So- this does not mean and will never mean the human race will become extinct or something.
Your implication of humans not being made to prefer the same gender makes as much sense as a lobster climbing the Eiffel tower. No human yet has a purpose not do we know the meaning of life. You have no evidence to prove we would not be like this as we are in FULL control of our own emotions.
I appreciate your own opinions, and notice not ONCE have I insulted you (except the lobster thing but that was more comical) in this thread- therefore I have not violated my freedom of speech.
