| I need to figure out how to delete a player's hat and packages. I'm trying to play with ways to make custom outfits for characters for a future game, and I had already figured out how to weld bricks on a character so that it looks like clothing, and how to replace BodyColors. All I need to do now is replace hats and packages (I already know how to Instance and then Parent Character Meshes). |

| I just read. Do you really want to use bricks as clothes? Make shirts then put them in the character. i think its a better idea. |

Bricks as clothes is actually more convenient because I don't have to make clothes just to use them, and I'd rather not use someone else's creation in my game, unless I paid them a good portion of my income for the game.
Plus, I have some sort of "IT HAS TO BE ORIGINAL" complex. |

I wasn't talking about using someone else's. Make your Own. Then you might be able to eventually sell them if you buy BC of course. |

You can use GetChildren() and for loops to do it, like this("character" is the player model): for k, c in pairs(character:GetChildren()) do if c.ClassName == "Hat" or c.ClassName == "CharacterMesh" then c:destroy() end end
The hats load at a slight delay after the player spawns, you may need to have a delay if you use this. Alternately you can disable CanLoadCharacterAppearance so everyone spawns without anything, in a way such as this:
game.Players.PlayerAdded:connect(function(player) player.CanLoadCharacterAppearance = false end) |

@MT
I have to have BC to make them in the first place. I cannot use an item that doesn't exist within Roblox. |

Well. I said that you had to buy BC.
Or just make them and ask a BC member to put it on sale .... |

Bah, I failed BADLY at the CanLoadCharacterAppearance. I sort of copied and pasted your script... which makes me feel odd, as the reason for even custom- building clothes is solely originality.
I'll just write "credit to (your username)." |

Yeah, it's actually more fun to build them, and it looks nice close- up, less 2D pixel- ey. |
