Name: Darikinth; Although his followers know him by many titles and believe it is taboo to speak his name. These names and titles include The Lord of Fire, The Magma King, The Patron of Arsonists, The Annihilator of Darkness, The Eternal Flame, The Ember Eye and The Burner of All, to name a few of the more common names (although "Patron of Arsonists" is a title typically used by those who do not serve him as a derogatory statement).
Gender: Male
Mortal Appearance: At first, from a distance, he appears to be little more than a man wearing bright red robes, with a strange, orange-y yellow hair colour. However, up close, you can see that he's eight feet tall, with red pupils instead of black and black irises instead of an ordinary colour. He is ridiculously lanky for his height as well - His only dimension that was expanded was his height, not width or depth.
Preferred Magic Types: Fire, magma, smoke and the likes of that.
Starting Biome: Mountain range where all the mountains are active volcanoes or a forest that never stops burning. I'm a god, I can have badass housing if I want to. I'll let you choose which of these is cooler for me to have as my starting biome.

The sound of fire cackling was the only type of noise emitting from the ruined dungeon. All rooms but the center chamber, the room you had been sealed in all those years ago, were tunneled in. But the enchantments you put upon this place were very powerful, even many years after your fall. They were buried, yes, but once you retrieved your faithful minions, this would not be a problem, for while they might not be as powerful or smart as you, they had the intelligence to burrow through your dungeon. But you were wary.

The single minion you have had the power to make prior to this has been reporting to you with intel, and now it is clear that some of your fellow evil lords had been awakening. They could prove to be a problem, but for now you needed to get your dungeon operational...

Send my intel guy out as far as he can go to see if any of my mortal followers from before my fall still operate, or at least their ideological descendants, due to the amount of time it's been since I last roamed the world.

The fire beast gave a slight growl and ran off in the daylight in order to help with being covert. By dusk he manages to retrieve five of the descendants of your former followers. Of great pleasure to yourself, they tell of secret organizations that had founded after your downfall, where membership passed down from generation to generation. They offer to retrieve some of their group members and leave others behind to spy.

I tell them to begin recruiting, and that those that do not comply are to have their children taken from them and raised by the cult and they burned alive as sacrifice to me. However, I tell them also to keep word of my newfound freedom a secret, lest I lost it again quickly.

They acknowledge your orders and begin recruiting. The next day, they return with a group of thirty including the original that went to collect them.

The fire beast develops a blood lust.

They fail to collect any more supporters, but bring about six sacrifices from a nearby village.

Some of the less combat suited supporters begin working on repairing the dungeon.

Build an altar to me and grant some of my most influential servitors fire magic to aid in sacrifices. Feed one of the captives to the fire beast.

Also tell them that children are easily manipulated and thus would make excellent additions to our ranks, albeit as initiates into our order. Depending on how isolated the nearby village is, that would make excellent recruiting grounds, both for sacrifices and initiates.

The village is based on a river that over the years has become dirty. The supporters report that a very infective disease that kills mortals and then resurrects them as undead servants is spreading quickly through the land. It is suspected to have been caused from a necromancer evil lord.

Children are brought in, screaming for their parents but otherwise unable to resist.

Burn the village, anyone caught would be simply trying to expell the vile magic that has befallen the river by attempting to burn the source. Anyone still in the village as it burns is a sacrifice to me.

The village is burned, but the guardsmen of the village protect the innocents best they can, and many of their spouses and children that were not already kidnapped manage to escape.

[note I use a dice roller and add bonuses and penalties depending on the situation]

Send one of my cultists, preferably a younger one, to go and search for the most powerful fire wizards in the world, and request apprenticeship to help him control his innate and powerful fire magic (which, in truth, is a gift of me to help him gain the apprenticeship). Once he has the apprenticeship, I want him to begin spreading the cult within the academy or to attempt to convert the one who he was apprenticed to over to my doctrines.

Success! He slowly begins to control his magic, and you begin spreading the cult to some of the younger ones, and soon enough he will try to recruit his teacher; if he refuses, he has an academy filled with students that have been training in magic for quite some time against him.

It is the most influential academy in the region.

A building has been repaired:

The Arcane Archplace. Slowly gives you access to some of your old powers, and eventually will allow you to return to full power.

Merely symbols of your devotion, they provide you with no bonuses other than slightly increasing the morale of your blood thirsty minions, which at the moment is up to one.

Increase sacrifices regardless, and remember to keep some for my fire beast.

Spread my influence, but slowly.

(About how much time has gone by in-game since I was freed? I assume a few years to a few decades at the very least.)

I'm content to just allow my cults to continue growing, for now, and to allow my palace to be rebuilt.

In the meanwhile, I have my servitors collect as much information on the world as they can. History, current popular deities, the likes of that.

And keep growing my fire beast army. I'll split the sacrifices fifty/fifty - Half to help grow my fire beast army and half for my cultists to do whatever they wish, so long as it involves fire, smoke or magma.

The portal is repaired.

The portal is a room that allows you to summon your minions that were trapped in the void when you fell, and it also allows you to exchange minions with other lord of evil. There is a small chance of randomly getting a minion of another evil lord when they are teleporting.
