| Yes. People may never change, but those who are attracted to communities (see: niche) are different. |

trolling wasnt really an established thing to do back in 2008, so the community had that going for it at least.
people were just younger, back in 07-08 roblox was just some kiddy lego game, and there was no appeal for anyone over the age of 16, very few players understood how scripting worked so games were basic af, comments had 0 spam until mid 2009 when they free tickets and robux copy paste came along, not to mention the fact that trolling was not an established thing on the internet at that point.
we were all young and innocent, so yeah in a way we kinda were angelic in that sense. |

the internet in general is a lot different today then what it was 7 years ago. its actually really crazy to think about.
i cant imagine what people who were on online forums and communities in 2000 - 2006 must feel seeing the internet change so much. |

To be honest, the only thing that was good about the past was that it felt childhood-ish.

idk i dont think there really was a specific point in time where roblox fell apart.
its always been the same game, its always had the same target audience, now that the internet is more established theres just a different attitude in its players. people see the idea of internet anonymity as a chance to just be rude or are entertained by the idea of trolling.
theres more appeal for older players now as well, since rtoblox has gotten so much more social over the years. |

Roblox seems to be split into two at the moment, 7-12 year olds playing games, with a few of them attempting to date or whatever. And then there's the 13/14-18 year olds on the forums that don't really care anymore.
